Ends of the Earth Ministries

In South Sudan:
Please continue to pray for the nation of South Sudan. Decades of Civil War have collapsed the economy, resulting in mass starvation and desperation. Hopelessness and violence run rampant throughout communities.

Pray for our 500 students that are being daily discipled in the love of God and His Word, so they may lead their nation into a new season of hope.

Pray for the 75 children and young adults in our children’s home and for the Missionary parents that are laying down their lives to provide peace and unconditional love to these precious ones. Please pray for the new churches in the Tauso & Taposa villages. Pray that the pastors and medical staff will have the spiritual and physical tenacity to handle the countless challenges while living amongst Stone-Age tribes.

In Kenya:
Pray for the refugee students in our missionary training college in the Kakuma Refugee Camp. They are fasting and praying as they prepare to return to South Sudan to begin reaching cities across the border in North Sudan, with hopes to plant churches amongst Muslim peoples in 2020-21.

Pray for the Missions Equip Training Programs. We are in the throes of launching two new schools this year.

SGWM FEB PRAYER UPDATE

AFRICA

Vincent and Melissa Aniku – Uganda

Praise God:
-Our church continues to grow both in number but more importantly in relationship with Him. The church had a hard season but what is meant for evil, God uses for Good! The unity and depth of prayer that has grown in us as a church family, only God could do.

-We have begun construction on our chicken and egg project for the school! We have also finalized the purchase of the land. Once the rains start, our church will start the large-scale farming for the children, both for the health through proper diet and also for the school to become self-sustaining.

-We have resumed posting Sunday and Wednesday service on YouTube.

-West Nile TV (who often interviews Vincent, giving opportunity for open air sharing of the gospel) has come to take photos and videos of all our ministries. Lord willing, we will have our website up by March.

Prayer Requests:
1. Our boarding is over full! We should have 120 children in each boarding quarters but currently have over 140. Please pray with us as we seek God in building more dormitories.

2. The doctor found in my blood work that my body is fighting itself somehow. They have requested more blood work. As soon as we get the answers from the Lord, Vincent will come for 2 weeks then we will go back together. Through this trying time, I have learned, it is not for us to understand His mysteries but to trust in Him!

May God continue to bless those who have answered the call to bless these children this year! God’s timing is more than perfect! Photos of the chicken houses and farmland next month. For this month we just want to show you all these amazing children and what God is doing! To Him be all glory forever! We praise God for allowing us to be part of His mighty work!

Thank you for your prayers!!!!

In Him,
Aniku Family – Email Blog

In USA:
Pray for the Missions Equip Training Programs. We are in the throes of launching two new schools this year.
The first – International School, will be used in Bible Colleges as a complete missions training course.

The second – Transformation, is a cross-cultural immersion training program, equipping missionaries to assimilate into their new culture while learning the language and world view.  Pray that God would continue to empower, envision and sustain us as we seek to establish nationally led, culturally relevant, biblical-based churches among unreached peoples.

Thank you for your prayers!

Yours for the unreached, Rob Douglass – Email  Blog

The 10/40 Window

The 10/40 Window is a rectangular geographic area stretching from North Africa through the Middle East to Asia, covering 68 countries. Two-thirds of the world’s population live within the 10/40 Window.

Three out of every five people in the 10/40 Window have no access to the gospel. According to the Joshua Project, 68.6% of the 10/40 Window’s ethnic groups (5,984) are considered unreached, with a total population of 3.09 billion.
(Some names and faces have been changed or omitted for security reasons.)

Worker 11 – 10/40 Window

Praise God:
-Thank God that God has saved us from all kinds of troubles. -Thank God about 400 people came to Christmas to hear God’s gospel and joined in the joy of God’s birthday. Went to lunch

-Thank God that in the month of December we went to about 7 new villages where the gospel of Jesus Christ had not yet reached the; we delivered the gospel and more than 5000 people heard the news and about 15 to 20 people believed.

-Thank God! Christmas time our city was attacked by many churches, but God saved us all

-Thank God that some people who were from the media at Christmas time came and interviewed our church believers but thank God they didn’t print anything against us.

Prayer Requests:
1. Please pray for us, may God protect us from viruses, cold and fever. 2. Please pray for this corona virus all the temples, mosques and churches in our city and in the village have been closed and after a few days there is going to be a complete lockdown again. We’re secretly doing Sunday service. 3. Please pray that my elder sister is getting married in February next month and may God fulfill every need in marriage especially financial needs because my sister and my father are all serving God independently without any monthly support.

4. Please pray that this year I have decided to register my church. And I can install cc camera in the church because a Christian lawyer has said that if someone attacks your church then on the basis of cc camera can take action against him so that he cannot attack again on any other churches in future. That is why pray that God fulfills the financial needs so that we can also register and install CC cameras.

5. Please pray for the people of our church that they remain in the Lord and remain stable in the persecutions, now there are many such believers in our church who have been excommunicated from the village society for the sake of the Lord.

Worker 11 – 10/40 Window

Praise Report:
-Thank God that He has saved us from all kinds of evils.

-Thank God that one person publicly followed Jesus this month.

-Thank God that my father’s hand, which was fractured, healed early. God healed him very well.

-Thank God for allowing us to preach the Good News to about eight new villages this month. About 10 people accepted the Lord!

Prayer Requests:
1. Please pray that God will keep us safe and keep us safe from all kinds of danger. Kindly pray that the people in our church will remain steadfast in faith; there are many older people who were cast out from the people of their village communities, but they are still situated in the Lord. I am very pleased to see their faith.

2. Please pray for our village leader election. Pray that God will appoint a good leader who will take good care of everyone. The last time, the village leader murdered someone, and is still in jail.  Christmas is coming, and like we do every year, this year we also want to go to a new village and preach the Good News to about 10,000 people. Like last year, we want to distribute new testaments, blankets and saris, and have a Christmas lunch. If the Lord wills, He will fulfill all kinds of financial needs.

3. Please pray that God will arrange a graveyard for our church to prevent a very difficult situation in the future. People of the village are ostracizing those who believe. They will not attend their marriages or funerals. They will not allow their dead bodies to be burnt or buried in their crematoriums.

Thank you so much for your prayers, support, and partnership for the Gospel!

God bless you!

Worker 6 and Family – 10/40 Window

Prayer Requests:
1.Day by day it is becoming tough, and anti-Christian groups are growing more and more to stop the spread of the Gospel. A pastor was recently arrested here and many have been threatened not to preach the Gospel. Please pray about this.

2. Please continue to pray for unity in our church and for us to make godly decisions.

3. I thank God for His protection and healing in our students. Be continually praying for our students.

4. Pray for those who have newly given their lives to Christ.

6. Please pray for a new place for us to hold worship services. Where we are, the seats are all full and no more people would be able to fit.

7. The work of the Holy Spirit is misinterpreted in many of the churches in our state. My team and I are praying about starting a 1-month school of worship, which we would hold during our semester break. We would train in basic music theory and biblical worship, introducing the worship leaders to Christian theology. Our vision is to bring man closer to God through the Word of God and to worship Him how He wants to be worshiped. We want to help believers learn the differences between acceptable and unacceptable worship, to worship God in spirit and in truth.

8. Please pray for an outreach we are planning, for God’s leading and protection.

Thank you for praying.

With love in Christ,
Worker and Mrs. 6

In USA:
Pray for the Missions Equip Training Programs. We are in the throws of launching two new schools this year.

We want to help believers learn the differences between acceptable and unacceptable worship, to worship God in spirit and in truth.

4. Pray as we hope to purchase land for large scale farm and animal rearing to hopefully become more self sustaining.

Thank you all for praying for our family, it means the world to us!

Prayer Requests:
1. Please continue to pray that the Lord would open up doors and give direction on where He would like me to travel next. So far, I have not sensed open doors from Him to any specific area.

3. Please pray for Amy as she navigates homeschooling 4 young kids at very different developmental stages.

FIRST PRAISE REPORT
The only Bible College that has been able to continue to operate during this Covid pandemic is about to start another semester. It is a small handful of students this semester since we are not taking new students due to the lock downs in that country.

We have a great line up of teachers teaching through Inductive Bible Study, Genesis, Exodus, Joshua and the Gospel of John. We also have an English class along with Systematic Theology, Practical Christianity.

Please pray for this semester. Pray that the students will see Jesus and be totally transformed. Pray that they would spread the word of God’s love and Christ’s sacrifice so that country would be won for the kingdom. Please, please pray that God would bring an end to the lock downs, giving the people a break to get back to life as normal. Pray that we would be able to return to minister to the students and the other ministries next year. I long to get back there and reconnect in person with the students and staff.

God has been blessing Calvary Chapel Truckee and we are growing in Jesus as well as numbers. Honestly, I don’t think I have been busier, but I’m not complaining. The Lord has been doing a very special work drawing new people to our fellowship, reviving body life after being separated for so long with Covid. He is also raising up men in our fellowship to take on more of te leadership roles. Tina’s summer book study was well attended and a great blessing to the women of our church. We have also started our first life group with plans of 3-4 more next session. It’s such a blessing to just sit back and see the Lord do the things that He has been doing. It’s been such a joy to serve this church.

Please pray for strength to meet the needs of pastoring this church, as well as the wisdom and vision needed. Pray that God would continue to draw people to us that need to hear the Gospel, people who the Spirit of God has been working on. Pray that our body would grow in love, one for another, and that we would be characterized as a praying, loving, Word of God focused church.

THIRD PRAISE REPORT
Overall our family is doing very well. We’re still adjusting to a new area. The boys are working and trying to break into careers of their choosing. Please pray for open doors for them. Recently Tina and I have been sick, NOT WITH COVOD.
Please pray for healing and good health. Pray for our marriage and family in general as there are many attacks as we seek to serve the Lord faithfully and without compromise.

We are so very thankful for your prayer support. I am sorry it has been so long since I have submitted a prayer request. It’s a measure of how busy we have been. PLease feel free to email me with your prayer requests also.

God Bless you,
Gary and Tina – Email Blog

Buenas tardes (good afternoon), from me and the people of Tijuana!

Praise Report:
-my knee is healing well! Still have PT as the muscles in my thigh are not as strong as they should be!

– Our after school program/soup kitchen is going very well! 10 kids graduated out; they are going into Jr. High, and so 10 new kids are coming in. (We have a waiting list).

– God is blessing the single girl’s Bible study that I hold in my home bi-monthly! One gal, Nayeli, accepted Jesus in her heart last Saturday!

Prayer Requests:
1. For more servants in the after school program. The youth that are helping at present will soon not be starting school and will not be able to help!

2. For teachers for the children at our church. Specifically for Wed. night ages 9-11, and a sub. for the nursery

3. For a major dental surgery that I hope to have on Aug. 27th. Pray for peace in doing this; that it is of the Lord.

4. For the parents of the kids in the after school program; that they would be drawn to Jesus by the Holy Spirit through us, His servants.

5. For an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all of us here at Calvary Chapel Pedregales!

6. For my sentri pass to come quickly! It is a special card that I have which makes crossing the border super fast. I used
it (unknowingly) expired, and so now am being punished. I will have to wait many months for an interview to begin the renewal process. I cross the border regularly to help take care of my mom, and for banking purposes.

Thank you so much for your prayers for me and the people of Mexico. I cherish them

To God be the glory forever and ever, Amen!
