God is Working in Mighty Ways! – De La Cruz Update July 2023

Since we arrived in January, our family and the church has been growing and moving in great ways. God has completely blown our expectations out of the box. Right now at Calvary Conexion Mexico, we have switched to doing 2 services on Sundays because the service was starting to get really crowded. There are about 35-40 people coming to our Sunday services, and there has been a new person, couple, or family almost every week recently.

There has been many people who have visited and helped us on our journey of starting the church here in Calpulalpan. First we would like to give a big thank you to Ron and Kristy Struska. They not only helped us move down with all of our belongings, but they stayed a couple of extra weeks here to help us get the church building ready!

We also had the blessing of having some friends come to visit us. Due to them being missionaries in a country where it is illigal to be Christian and to start a church, we can not mention their names nor show their faces in the photo. But it was a blessing for the church to be able to hear their testimony and for them to share how they were called to the mission field. They also challenged the church to examine their own lives to see what God is calling them to. Another blessing was to have the Rojas family come to visit us for that Sunday. This is Pastor Sergio, his wife Elena and their two daughters from Calvary Cocoyoc in Mexico City.

Our friends who came to visit, Brittany, Joshua, Brian, Kimmy, Pastor Sergio, Elena, their daughters

In April we started a men’s and women’s Bible study on Tuesdays. There was about 10 women and 8 men average for every study. Between this study, pillars class, inductive Bible study, and the Calvary Chapel Distinctives classes that we have been giving, it has all been a big blessing and tool to disciple people.

In May we had a “Pray over the property” day. We invited everyone from the church to meet us at the property that is in the process of being donated to the church. A few people brought food and we started with a short devotional and worship. Then we split up and walked around the property praying for what the future holds. After the time of prayer, we asked a few people to share what God spoke to them when they were praying. We ended it with a delicious meal and time of fellowship. (click here for more photos).

At the beginning of July we had our first conference at Calvary Conexion Mexico! It was a “Fundamentals of the Faith” conference. We had multiple pastors who came to speak for the conference including: Pastor Mike Vincent and Pastor Mario Medrano from Calvary Rosarito; Pastor Gerson Hernandez from La SemillaPastor Tony Carranza from Calvary Maranatha Mazatlan. It was great to have our sending Pastor there and get to meet the congregants of the church. We had many people share with us what a blessing the fundamentals conference and church planting conferences at Calvary CDMX and Capilla Calvario Tulancingo were and that they learned a lot.

The Sunday right after the conference we had the blessing of having Pastor Mike and Pastor Hugo Limon share for our Sunday service. Then right after the services we went to one of the brother’s from the church house for our first baptisms! Praise God there were 6 people who were baptized! We are so proud of them and the step of faith that they took in their lives. (Click here to see more photos)

We also want to give a big thank you to Pastor Carlos Oliveros and Robin for coming to visit with us! It was such a blessing for our family and for our church to have them here in Calpulalpan. We showed them some of the local touristic locations like the pyramids, ruins, historical centers, and museums in and around Calpulalpan. Pastor Carlos also shared at our servants’ meeting. He gave an awesome message about what it means to serve and how it is important to have our hearts in the right place. He even gave some examples and did some illustrations with the people. Pastor Carlos also shared for our Sunday service, where we also had the people serving in different areas putting into practice what they learned.

Prayer Requests:

  • For wisdom and guidance to raise up leaders within the church
  • For the students to be faithful and continue to learn in the classes
  • For funds for the repairs of the storage shed and to put a fence around the property
  • For the current midweek Bible studies – Inductive Bible study; Calvary Chapel Distinctives study; Music classes; and the Youth Group

Praise Reports:

  • That the midweek Bible studies have been fruitful and people are learning a lot
  • That people have come forward to start serving during our Sunday services
  • That there has been about 20 people who have accepted Jesus as their Savior since we started

Thank you for taking the time to read what God is doing here in Calpulalpan! We want to give you a sincere thank you for your time, prayer, and financial support! This fruit here in Calpulalpan is your fruit as well. Thank you for being partners in this ministry with us! God bless you!

Love,

Brian, Brittany, Joshua, and Kimberly De La Cruz

ESPANOL:

Farewell Colorado until… – Weakland Update July 2023

“The Bible cannot be trusted because it has many different translations throughout the years.”

This claim has been used by many people who are not that interested in the message of the Bible because they say it has errors and is unreliable. Yet if you open up a modern Bible, go to the book of Isaiah, and compare it with the translation of this 2000 plus year old replica scroll that I saw in the Bible Museum, the translations are almost the exact same! Below is a link that can be copied and pasted into a search engine. It shows the version the Jews used before Christ compared with the version we use in churches today. Enjoy!

http://dss.collections.imj.org.il/chapters_pg

My cousin Daniella was my tour guide in the nation’s capital. I stayed in a house with an 18th century bathtub. The Bible Museum was one of my many stops in the U.S. for my 2.5-week trip. If you are ever in the Washington D.C. area, I highly recommend checking it out! I wanted to bring a sleeping bag and stay the night there, because there was so much biblical archaeology and history that wooed my eyes and aligns with God’s Word. When I go to the jungle and teach the bible to those in Moyobamba and those in the tribes further out, I can trust 2 Timothy 3:16 which says “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness”. The teachings in the Scriptures are inspired by God, not invented by religious men.

The other east coast stop was in Harrisonburg, Virginia. When I was sharing at Horizon Christian Fellowship church, I pretended that I thought I was in Lynchburg, a city nearby. I said, “it’s good to be here in Lynchburg with you all.” Not many people laughed. An awkward start to my presentation.

Pastor Ronny Breen invited me to share about the church plant in Moyobamba. Us at Calvary Bible Institute Peru have a special relationship with him, because he taught us the book of Jonah and James, and gifted us ice cream at our graduation ceremony.

After I shared about my calling and the mission, several people hugged me, prayed for me, and encouraged me. It was awesome fellowship. I also received enough financial donations to be able to buy 100 Spanish bibles! Pray that the people of Moyobamba read them and know God more. Interestingly enough, I later read Philippians 1 in my devotions, and could understand the apostle Paul better when he said in verses 3-5 “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now.”

Worshiping the Lord at Horizon Christian Fellowship in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Most of my time, however, was spent in my home state Colorado. It was nice to be there in the summertime because I could do more in the mountains and not defend myself against the cold. I was able to spend quality time with most of my family. This was precious because I don’t know when is the next time that I will see them.

Sadly, my nephew Rafael died one day before his birth back in the beginning of June. This was heartbreaking for my family. I was never able to meet him in person like I was anticipating. Thankfully, I will see him again in heaven. And THAT is worth rejoicing in!

I went on a camping trip with my Dad and Stepmom. I missed the Rocky Mountains! After hours of casting, I was finally able to land this brown trout. We cooked him over the fire and ate him with butter, salt, and lemon on top of crackers!

A couple reflections from my time in the mountains…

Colorado is so pretty. There are so many adventures to endeavor and beauty to explore. I have had some wonderful memories and lots of happiness there. But I am convinced that God has called me to Pastor a church plant in Moyobamba. There isn’t anything more excellent in one’s life than being in the Father’s will.

God teaches through His Word and can teach through nature. When fishing, I had to be tactful, patient, and determined. As Jesus called the disciples to be fishers of men, these are some of the same qualities to be applied when we disciple others. When I go to Moyobamba in October, I want to be prayerful and intentional when looking for young men to teach the Bible to and invest in. Don’t worry, I won’t throw a net over people.

It is okay to pray for little things. One of my favorite animals is a bear. I have only seen one once in my life. I simply asked God if I could see a bear in the mountains. The next day, a little black bear darted across the road. It climbed a tree, then went down and skipped down the green mountain hills. A cool sight to see! Thank you God for answering that little prayer! I ask you Lord that I see pink river dolphin when I go to the jungle.

Praises to God

  • Quality time with my family
  • The generosity of Horizon Christian Fellowship Church
  • The Bible Museum and all the evidence in favor of the Bible
  • My nephew Rafael’s salvation
  • His teachings in the Word and in nature

Prayer requests

  • Growing in discernment.
  • Confirmation to some for being part of the Moyobamba team
  • Financial support

God Is Exalted Among the Nations! – Prakash Update July 23

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Psalm 46:10 (NKJV)

As pastors and leaders of His church all around the world, we work faithfully in any and every circumstance, but it is God Himself who makes the ministry grow. Praise God for the wonderful ministries that He has entrusted us with on this earth!

Bible Church in the Capital

It is a great joy to worship our God with His church! A couple of leaders were trained and raised. Together we got the vision and decided to start a new work. Now we are seeing the fruit of the church.

Our Bible Church’s Women’s Fellowship Knitting Together and Doing Crafts
Mid-Week Fasting Prayer Meeting

Every Wednesday the women of our church fast and pray together for the church and all our ministries.

Weekly Youth Meeting

Three weeks of each month our teens and young adults meet together. They worship together and study God’s Word.

House Fellowships

Every week our church has house fellowships. We visit the believers of our church, study from the Word, listen to their problems and about what is going on in their lives, encourage them in the Lord and pray for them. Whenever we have a house fellowship, the believers’ families who live nearby also come to the respective location.

Children’s Outdoor Fellowship and Prayer

Bible Study in L*

We have been praying for brother Rabindra’s area. It is the district that is next to the capital. We have been praying to start a new church plant there. A couple of months ago we started a Bible study there. Brother Rabindra, one of the leaders of our church in the capital, is leading that Bible study at his home. Some people from the neighborhood are also attending the Bible study.

Calvary Chapel H*

Brother Laxman has been pastoring this church. God is at work through His Church and it is growing.

Calvary Chapel J*

Brother Nikesh’s family went to a place outside of the capital and started a new work there. God is at work. People are attending the church regularly and it is growing. It is a great joy to see God’s work all around!

Blessings!

He Is Faithful – Voisin Update July 2023

A Peruvian sunset down in Trujillo, Peru.

One thing I feel the Lord has been impressing upon my heart more and more lately is to be faithful. My hope is that I have been, but there are always things to grow in, and I pray the Lord helps me to be a faithful witness of His until He returns or calls me home. Be faithful in the little things—you’ll reap a harvest (Gal. 6:9), don’t despise the day of small beginnings (Zech. 4:10). If we are faithful in little, then we will be faithful in much (Luke 16:10). Lord, make us faithful in all things, and all for Your glory!

Summer With the Middle School

So far we’ve already been able to do two of our events; mini golf and laser tag and arcade at Epicenter! The kids are having a great time, and during our weekly study we’re going through John. This week we’re in John 7, and I’m excited to see what the Lord is going to do. Later this month we have our Summer Middle School Camp and so far it’s looking like we’re going to have around 5 students coming. It’s a joint Calvary camp and the theme is going to be Living Water! Please be praying that the students would taste and see that He’s good and that they would come to Him as their Savior

What’s Next

In the last couple of updates I’ve been mentioning that there is an exciting opportunity ahead and I appreciate your prayers! It’s clear now that the Lord had other plans in my going to Peru. As I got to serve in Trujillo, the Lord began to stir in my heart towards joining the Bible college there to serve and learn how to help run and even plant a Bible college in the future. The Lord is doing a great work in South America and I have an exciting opportunity to be a part of it. Training up the next generation of pastors, church planters, and missionaries has been on my heart, since shortly after I began my first year of Bible college, and I am excited to be able to pursue going. As of right now we are praying about and moving toward my going in the beginning of the year in 2024. There is a lot changing and moving with the Bible college in Trujillo, it’s growing, and I am really looking forward to what the Lord is going to do there.

Please pray for me for wisdom—on how best to prepare and get ready to go early next year. I’m currently trying to learn Spanish as much as I can on Duolingo (there’s no replacement for being immersed in a culture and it’s language). I’m also going to start working on a good working budget for my time there. The plan is to start with a 6-month trip in the hopes of being a part of the work there long-term. I know the Lord will lead and guide! Prior to going in 2024, my hope is to attend the Calvary Church Planting and Missions Conference (September 28-30; the trip is Sep. 23-Oct. 2) that will be held at the Bible College in Trujillo. It’s going to be a sweet time and an amazing opportunity to get an idea and pulse on what the Lord is doing in Peru and South America as well!

Prayer and Needs

  • That projects at home for the benefit of my family would be completed soon.
  • Completing other tasks I said I would complete.
  • My dad’s health and recovery (motivation and strength).
  • That I would be faithful in the ministries that the Lord has placed in my care.
  • The right people to help take over those ministries in the long-term.
  • That transition would go smoothly and without discouragement for the middle schoolers

>Conference

  • The Lord’s provision to attend the conference.
  • I will be getting my airfare separately and then joining a SGWM team for a week.
  • Airfare currently is ~$700-900, and the cost of room and board is about $240
  • Favor with the team and students—that we would be a blessing as we help work the conference and minister to the students and staff’s needs there.

>6 Month Start in Peru

  • Wisdom for the staff and myself moving forward on long term plans.
  • Provision and getting the budget worked out
  • Favor with all involved and that the work there would grow abundantly and for the glory of His name!

Thank you for all of your prayers and support,

-Jordon

Harris Family Update June 2023

“The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.”

JOB 1:21

The month of June was like a roller coaster with sickening stomach drops and fast paced excitement.

On Monday June 12th our community was rocked by the death of Esther Latim, the 15 year old daughter of Fred Latim, our Sr. Pastor at Calvary Chapel Gulu. Esther was a very kind and intelligent girl who was friends with everyone, including my daughters, and she was even the champion debater (for her division) in all of Northern Uganda. Her life came to an end due to a battle with a bacterial infection and malaria, with the lifelong condition of sickle cell. Pastor Fred, along with his wife Evelyn and their many children, are a blessing to everyone. They are an example to us for humility, grace, mercy, and thoughtfulness. I can honestly say I have never met a more humble and meek man than Pastor Fred. Please pray for their family as they go through this season.

During that same time God providentially answered our prayers in startling ways. After much prayer and consideration, Noelle and I decided to move our family away from the Village of Adak, to the nearby city of Gulu, for the sake of longevity on the field. On Wednesday, June 7th we sent out a request to you all for your help to make that happen. Amazingly only 4 days later, we received a message from a dear friend who wanted to support us with a loan to purchase the house we were praying for. That evening I got in touch with a lawyer to help us purchase the court owned property. When he went to inspect the property the following day he found that three other people had already brought contractors to the site and were intent on competing to buy it. When we heard that news we scrambled to get a few thousand dollars together to place a 10 day “holding fee” on the house while we awaited the wire transfer from the States. In a dramatic series of events, our lawyer got them to accept the terms of a holding fee merely hours before another buyer came in with an offer to buy the property in cash! After a week of waiting for us, the pressure was too much for the selling team and our lawyer received a call that they were tired of waiting and were going to sell the house to a buyer who was there in person with cash in hand. When they were reminded of the contract they had signed and stamped, the representatives of the court who were selling the house reluctantly honored their agreement to wait for two more days; but they did tell the other purchaser to come back early in the morning on Thursday to buy the property as soon as our agreement had expired. With a flood of excitement the money finished transferring on Tuesday night and we were able to purchase the property by Wednesday afternoon! It is evident that God’s hand went before us through the whole process, and we are confident that we are moving in His will. We are now renovating the place, and we believe we will move in within the first half of August.

The loan was not the only support we received, and we want to thank each of your for the great generosity you have shown our family as we make this move toward longevity. May God richly bless each of you. Please be aware that anything given toward the property project is being used to renovate the house and repay the home loan.

In Christ,

Matt & Noelle & Family

What Are the Ladies Up To? – Boubion Update July 2023

By Claudia & Poiema Boubion

Sharing with you our dear family, friends and co-laborers, what amazing things God is doing here in Rosarito, Mexico and beyond!

First things first, priorities, priorities! Devotional time is a must on the mission field!!  Meaning your alone time with Jesus one on one in His Word the Bible. Wherever you find yourself living or serving God, make Jesus first, and everything else will fall into place. Matthew 6:33

What 3 things do you encourage a new believer to do to encourage their devotional time with Jesus, their first love? I tell them start with prayer, first ask Him to forgive you for any wrong-doing, then ask God to help you understand His word, choose a book of the Bible to read consistently, and grab a notebook and pen because you are showing God you are ready to hear from Him and then live it out.

Now think, what does your devotional time with Jesus look like? If you are, praise God, if not, why not? I encourage you to start now, no time to waste!

Moving on to our Women’s Monday night Spanish Bible Study. I have the privilege of co-laboring with these 10 ladies. Our heart is to help the women grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ and raise future leaders amongst them. We have women between the ages of  16-75 and beyond. God is good!

Bible study leaders whom the Lord has blessed this ministry of over 50-70 women to pour into. Please keep us in your prayers, the needs are great.

Concluding with, our church planting pastor’s wives. After visiting a church planting conference, a year ago I saw our pastors spending time with the church planting pastors, but what about the wives of these pastors? So the Lord stirred my heart to do something about it. I have made it a point to spend time individually with the pastor’s wife each time I visit a church plant, pray for them and keep in contact through text. Recently, I visited both Calvary Maranatha in Mazatlan, Sinaloa and Camino Viviente in Morelia, Michoacan. Sitting with these ladies and other pastors’ wives I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and talking with, was of great encouragement to me, as I pray I was to them.

 1 Thessalonians 5:11

I have sooooo much more to share, but this is all for now. As I began in my update. Our devotional life is of utter importance to stay strong, encouraged, motivated, hopeful, forgiving, merciful, gracious, and fearless for the Lord till He comes again.

Poiema’s time to share:

In Youth ministry earlier this year in February, I had the opportunity to start helping and serving with the youth. The youth (specifically the youth girls) have been on my heart for some time and I’m very thankful for the opportunity I have to serve them. In the past few months I have been able to start and lead a small bible study going through some chapters from the book of Proverbs all through the YouVersion Bible App. I was then able to host a girls’ night hangout at my house, which was a lot of fun. We were able to get closer with one another through group games (also thanks to the fact that we weren’t in a huge space, nobody was able to hide in a corner!) and at the end we were blessed to have a small devotion and a time of worship! Serving in greeting for our youth group before every service, as well as putting together the group’s activity calendar, sums up everything I do. Right now we’re trying to put together a girls’ small group where we will study the book “Lies Young Women Believe.” I am praying that a study like this would be a catalyst for discipleship and spiritual growth in the life of these girls as well as for revival in our youth group!

Children’s Ministry

As for my work in the children’s ministry I am a teacher in the second service for the 3-4 year olds. It has been such a blessing and honestly such a learning curve for me having to lead a large group of children with the attention span of 5 seconds. Despite their short attention spans and their young ages, I have learned not to take for granted my role in these kids’ lives! For some of them, my class is the first place they’ll learn or even hear about God. I pray every week for the children in my class that we would be able to instill in them the knowledge that God does exist and that He loves them!

Poiema taking care of one of her 3-4 year olds at a children’s event at church.

Future plans in Peru

As many of you know, in 2022 I graduated from high school here in Rosarito, and for the past few years I have been praying for God’s guidance in my life regarding my next steps. And for the past couple months I believe God has revealed to me what those next steps are. So through many answered prayers and God’s specific confirmation towards this direction, I am confident to say, Godwilling that I will be attending bible college at CBI Peru in Trujillo. Please pray for me during this time as it is quite the step of faith for me and unlike anything I have ever done before. I am so incredibly excited for what God is going to do these next few months!

Praise reports:

  • God is answering our prayers concerning our children’s futures
  • God is providing in different ways for ministry and family needs.
  • God is opening doors for ministry in exciting places

Prayer requests:

  • Keep our priorities straight “Jesus first,” marriage, and children to grow and stay strong
  • Poiema preparing to go to Bible College in Peru: mentally, emotionally, physically, financially and spiritually.
  • Love God’s way: with grace, mercy, and forgiveness.

Once again we could not be here or do what God has called us to do without your love, prayers, and support.

This is your fruit as you co-labor with us ’til Jesus returns.

One in Christ,

Boubion Family

Vincent Family July 2023 Missions Update

Greetings from Mexico,

For the past year I have been diligently working on a major project, and as it comes to completion I wanted to share this project with you. For over 5 years now, I have had people encouraging me to write a book about the church planting missions work that God has been doing through our church! I continually put these people off because I am not a writer, but I did tell my friends I would pray about it.

A little over a year ago, I felt God telling me that this book project was His will so I began writing and writing and writing. Over the past year, this little book has nearly come into existence. The title of the book is “”THE SENDING HUB!” For those of you that don’t know, a sending hub, is a church that PLANTS OTHER CHURCHES!

After talking with friends in the ministry and our church staff, we have nailed the format down to 25 chapters. The book has three major focuses. #1- The book is the story of our family’s journey to Mexico and our missions work. #2- The book is the story of our church planting missions work, and how God used our church to be a sending hub. And #3- The book is designed to encourage pastors and other believers to get excited about the missions work of church planting.

It took me eight months to complete the rough draft, and then the editing process began. Thankfully,  I had six gifted friends that have been reading through the manuscript and helping me out with suggested edits. Those editors included my friends, Hugo Limon, Lydia Boubion, Pablo Boubion, Doc Miles, Sharon Putnam, and my pops Mark Vincent. Thankfully, there suggested edits were spot on, and many of them will be appearing in the finished copy of the book.

My book is not only going to have an English version, but it is going to have a Spanish version as well. To begin, only hard copies will be available, but as we are using Amazon’s book distributors to print the book, there will be a time when we make the digital copy of the book available through Amazon as well.

As we presently approach publishing time, I want to give you some really good news. I am going to send all of our financial supporters a free copy of the book to thank you for helping us make this idea of the sending hub a reality!

I do have a couple important prayer requests as we quickly approach our printing date. Prayer request #1- Is that the editing and translating is completed in early July so we can go to print. Prayer Request #2- is that the book is ready and available in time for our big church planting conference that will be held on August 4th and 5th!

Once again I want to thank you for your partnership over these past 21 years on the mission field of Mexico. It is through your prayers that God meet’s our spiritual needs, and through your financial partnership that God meet’s our physical needs.  We love you!

Con mucho amor de Mexico,  (with much love from Mexico)

Mike, Sarah, Grace, and Daniel

A Call to Dependency – Campos Update June 2023

Hi friends and family!

I am back in Yorba Linda! I was extremely blessed to have been able to spend time with my family. Leaving them this time prior to other times was hard. My time there felt like it was slipping out of my hands and the days were coming sooner when it was time for me to leave. Something God showed me in the midst of being there was that it is so important to cherish those precious moments with your loved ones and not take it for granted because you never know if that will be your last time. This made me appreciate my time with them and love on them, especially my mom because I adore her and we have such a close relationship.

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

~ ‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ ~

On my drive back to Yorba Linda I had a time of allowing God to speak to me. In the quietness, I looked over to my right as I drove passed a field and God reminded me of His promise from Matthew 13:8. Well, since being back it has been a time of full dependency on Him in two areas. First, that I am away from my family and two that His promise isn’t going to be fulfilled over night. Oh, how I would love for His promise to be fulfilled in me already but, there is a process. The process is sanctification and growth and it is very refining to say the least, but it has caused me to run to the Lord so quickly. I try not to get frustrated in the fact that I want to have the sanctification and growth a 10 year old devoted Christian has as I am coming to my 3 years of being a Christian. So silly. But thank God for His grace! God’s work takes time and I need to be patient to not rush it.

On another note, School Of Missions is starting in a couple of days and I am so excited! It is crazy that my season of being Pastor Tim’s assistant is coming to an end now that CSOM is starting. Working at the office has been a blessing. Throughout these months I have been able to connect with the CSOM students, pray for them and help them through the process of completing tasks. I have had some amazing conversations with the girls and I am so eager to see them all face to face.

>>>THANK YOU ALL, for your prayers and partnering with me financially. I am at 36% out of 100 from my goal. School of Missions is paid off! WOW! God is so faithful and I have faith CBI Israel and the vision tour to the Middle East (to be with the missions team my church sent out a few months ago) will soon be paid off as well.

Thankful to the Lord – Pastor 10 Update July 2023

Hi

Jai Masih ki! (Praise the Lord!)

Thanks be to the Lord. He has kept you and all of us safe. Give thanks that the Lord has blessed us all. I am thankful that the Lord chose me for the ministry and to witness to people so that they can be saved.

Thank you for your continued prayers for us. Nowadays 8-9 people who did not come to church before, because of fear of their family members, are now coming to my church. They are now coming to church every Sunday. Thanks to the Lord. The Lord worked in their hearts.

This is a testimony of a believer of my church. He had heard the Gospel long ago, but he did not believe in the Lord completely. When I came to my village and preached the Gospel of God, and he attended every Sunday service.

When he shared his testimony with me, I started praying for him from that day onward.

That brother had started preparing for government job after graduating from high school. There were many problems in his house, about which he was very worried. He used to pray to God every day that he would be able to pass the civil service exam. But his efforts failed 4 or 5 times. Afterward, his family members started forbidding him to go to church. Then I explained to them, that God will fix everything, I told them, “If you have faith in the Lord, the Lord will very soon answer your prayer.”

Because he believed that the Lord would definitely answer his prayers one day, he read the Bible everyday. Before reading the Bible, he would pray to God everyday. After a long time, God answered his and our prayers. He was selected to have a job in the forest guard. He thanked God. Last Sunday, he testified in church about how God worked in his life. He has also thanked God through a video. Today he is very happy. He tells those in his home about how God has worked in his life. Pray that his family members may also believe in Jesus through him.

I am very happy that the Lord has answered all of our prayers. May this village be won for God in the time to come. Amen

There is a village named T*. Some time ago, we went to meet a person there whose name is J*. He knew about my church and used to tell me “You have left your deities. This is not a good thing.” Something similar happened that day too. There were 2-3 other people with him. He said the same thing again about us all becoming Christians.

Then I told him, “We have not done anything wrong, we just want to know the truth.”

Then he started asking “What is the truth?”

In this I again thanked God inside and shared the Gospel with him. The people who were with him started asking many questions, I answered them. In the end, he said, “This is all a lie, you are misleading people from our gods. You have to stop this work.”

I did not argue with him much. I prayed for him in my heart, that God may change his heart and that I will be able to talk to him again, so that he can know the truth.

You also please pray for them, that God will change the lives of these people who heard the Word, so that they can know the truth.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for our church. Pray that the believers in my village grow in the Word so that their families may come to faith through their lives
  • Pray for our village. Pray that in the coming times this village may be won for God.
  • Pray that the people I have preached the Gospel to may believe in God. May God change their hearts.
  • Pray for the 4 people who warned me not to mislead people when I shared the Gospel with them. May God change their hearts so that they may know the truth.
  • Pray for my ministry and life. May God will reveal His plan to me and open new doors. May the Lord give me new people and a new plan for my life so that so that everyone may come to faith.
  • Pray for the church building which is currently in progress to be completed soon so that we can fellowship there. Material is not available in the crusher plant and it is expensive to bring material from other places.
  • Please pray for my health. My health has been bad for 3-4 months. I have had no improvement. I have infection in my stomach which did not get better even after I went to the doctor 4-5 times. Pray that God heals me.
  • Pray for my area. It is raining a lot right now. There is a lot of danger everywhere. May God protect everyone in this situation.

Amen

Praise the Lord

Thank you
