“If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.”
2 Tim. 2:13
First Calvary Chapel Pastor in Pakistan
We are very happy to share with you that I [Nadeem Massey] was ordained as First Pakistani Calvary Chapel Pastor in Nepal on Oct. 25, 2015 by Calvary Chapel Saving Grace, in Yorba Linda, California. I’ve been serving with Saving Grace World Missions since 2008 as national missionary in Pakistan, and during that time I continued to have my online Bible College studies from Calvary Chapel Bible College Murrieta, California.
We all are so exited to see all that Lord has been doing in & through our lives and we are also very much excited about all that Lord is going to do in Pakistan through this ministry in future. It is great blessing for us to be co-laborer with Saving Grace World Missions. Through this letter we want to send our special thanks to our pastors, our care-team members and all of our friends and family who have been encouraging and supporting this ministry for so many years. We are thankful to you for faithfully encouraging and supporting us while we have been serving here.
I praise God for being ordained on His appointed time. Now we are seeking His will, guidance and help to start an official [Calvary Chapel] church in Pakistan.
We have different small Bible groups of Christian people in and around our town that have been studying with us for years now. But during last six month Lord brought us to a disadvantaged Christian community in one corner of our town. Most of the people are brick makers. Many people from the villages are moving to the towns in order to get better jobs. These people have also come from different villages, and they are working in the town to feed their families. Many new families are also moving to this part of the town. We have two weekly meetings with these people. As we don’t have any building or proper place for meeting, most of our meetings are in open places, or in the yard of a Christian family. We are praying to purchase some land and build a small church in that area. And for that we want to request you to keep this special need in their prayers and if Lord encourages you to support Calvary Chapel Pakistan for this project it really will be a great blessing for us all here. In the first phase we will purchase a piece of land for building the church, and along with that we will start the process of registration of our church with our government. And when we have enough funds, we will start the building.
Women Ministry is one of the important ministries of CC Pak. We praise God that two groups at two different villages have graduated. The Christian ladies of those two villages are now skillful in Sewing, Knitting and Cutting. We have moved the Sewing Center to a third village whereas weekly fellowship and Bible Study continues at all three villages. We have requests from some other villages to start Sewing Center and Bible Study with them. Please keep the financial need of this ministry in your prayers so that we may start more centers in the surrounding villages.
Our whole family is fine by the grace of God and we are thankful to all of you for keeping us in your prayers. My wife Farah is pregnant and we are going to have another son in January 2016. Please keep Farah in your prayers!
