God has blessed our church so much! All of the members are safe. None of them have been affected by Covid. We have been continuing our worship service. Our online meetings are also going well.

Trip to Visit Believers

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

(2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ). NKJV

Last month, I visited another place with brother Laxman to see the believers there. I especially comforted one of the believer’s family that had recently lost their father/husband.

Hebrews 12:1-2 reads:  

“Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.” (NKJV).

Though the government of our country has not been allowing church gatherings yet because of Covid, we have been worshiping the Lord together. We have been continuing our worship services and other online meetings (our daily women’s fellowship and weekly young adult meeting, prayer and Bible study, and children’s fellowship). We hope that we will all be able to gather together at the church building for services soon.

We are still under lock-down here. Transportation is partially open, but schools, colleges, mass gatherings and churches are closed. 

We have been continuing our online services and house visitations. We are continuing to have weekly online worship services, children’s fellowships, Bible study and prayer meetings, and young adult Bible studies. We also have daily women’s prayer meetings online. They are being blessed. 

Our Bible College is on vacation. All of the students have gone back to their respective places.

It is my great pleasure to share with my brothers and sisters, and prayer partners about what God has been doing through our church and Bible college. The Covid pandemic has affected everyone so badly all over our country. The lock-down has been continuing. We can hardly go out to buy groceries or vegetables–only between the hours of 6-9am, We are not allowed to be in a group larger than 5 people. We are also not allowed to gather for church services. In spite of all the circumstances, praise God, we are able to continue our online services and meetings. We are trying our best to encourage the church members through prayer and every possible way we can. 

We also are doing weekly online worship services, Bible study and prayer meetings, children’s fellowship, and young adult meetings and having women’s prayer meetings 5 days a week.

Colossians 2:5 reads :

“For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.” (NKJV)

As Paul mentioned in Colossians 2:5 – this has also become true for us these days. Though we are unable to get together physically, we are able to worship our Lord through the means of the internet. We are one in the Spirit.

Since the Pandemic took over again and the lock-down has continued, we once again have started our online meetings.

Romans 8:28 reads: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Bad times are not always only bad. Sometimes, God brings about bad times in His people’s lives so that they spend quiet, quality time with Him and His Word.

I am very glad to give an update about our church. Ever since the lock-down started we have been continuing our online meetings. It has brought blessing to the church. Of course, we have now started physical meetings such as house fellowships and visitation, as well.

“Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:39b.

God is good and perfect all the time! 

We have been continuing our weekly in-person worship services. Coming together as the body of Christ has been a blessing.

We have also been continuing our online worship services, children’s services, Bible studies, and prayer meetings.

We have been reaching out to a family since the lock-down started. It is a married couple with their son and daughter. They are now coming to our church. Last month, they accepted the Lord as their personal Savior!

Calvary Chapel Bible College Conference

We had a wonderful two day CCBC student conference last month. Almost 95% of the students attended the conference. Some of the Calvary Chapel local church young adults/teens also attended the conference. Apart from the conference we did Gospel outreach in a village. We also went hiking in the mountain with our students and some local young adults/teens.

God is great! He does everything perfect in His perfect time!

For a long time, I have been sharing about a specific area. We were praying that God would work in this area and He did! During the past 2 months, God has done amazing things! He has turned a small Bible study into a church! 
Every week, over 18 people are gathering to worship God. I want to thank everyone that had been praying for this area. A 3rd semester student of our Calvary Chapel Bible College and his wife (who are members of our church) are now serving there.

Praise God for technology! Though we are  unable to gather together at the church building because of the pandemic, we can be one body of Christ in the Spirit. We have Women’s, Children’s, and Young Adult Fellowships; Bible study and prayer meetings; and our weekly worship services through Zoom. Nothing can hinder us from worshiping our God.
