BLESSINGS FROM PAKISTAN!

Dear friends and Family!

The situation in our part of the world is always alarming with stress and oppression on the increase.  But, we are continually reminded of your great love and prayer support which assures our hearts that we are never alone in this mission field.  Thank you very much for co-laboring with us.  Your love, encouragement and prayers keep us steadfast while serving!

MINISTRY OF THE WORD

mission day in a village edited

OUR VISION for 2013 is to focus on the teaching of the Word, verse by verse in the Villages.  We have had two weekly Village Bible studies but we are happy to tell you that we have added one more!   What a blessing to see the fruit of our labor and ministry.  People are turning to the study of the Word and it’s changing their lives.

You can help by praying for our Discipleship Program.  We need well trained men to help us teach the many who come to us with a hunger and thirst for the Word.  Security Issues prevent us from starting a large training program, so please pray that the Lord will guide and protect us and that this work may continue growing!

SEWING CENTER MINISTRY TO BEGIN!

Sewing Center edited
EXCITING NEWS!  The first of the Sewing Centers opens this week!  The new Village Sewing Center and Bible Study ministry had been scheduled to start last week, however, Farah was ill which delayed the opening.   We praise God for your enthusiastic participation in this ministry, and for the financial help you have provided.  As we’ve shared before, the center will serve as a platform for Christian women of the villages to learn sewing skills, have weekly Bible studies with Farah and enjoy fellowship.

We are thankful for your wonderful support for this project!  Please keep the Center and it’s mission in your prayers, and please pray for Farah’s health and the anointing to  proclaim the gospel freely and boldly to bring many of the village ladies to salvation in Jesus Christ.
NEW!  We’ve been praying for sound Biblical study material in Urdu language for Pakistani Christians.  This is one of the basic and greatest needs of Pakistani Christians.  There is so much unhealthy [so-called] Christian literature in circulation which is miss-leading Pakistani Christians into (non-Biblical) spiritual experiences, phenomenal activities, health, wealth and prosperity teaching and cultist movements.  People can get such literature totally free, and they don’t know how to discern!

CHRISTIAN RESOURCES FOR PAKISTAN SOON!

SERpak edited

We’ve named our new resource ministry “Society for Evangelical Resources in Pakistan” or SERPak.  We ask you to join us in prayer for the ability to print good, reliable Biblical books for our people.   Some of the books are already translated and we have permission to translate more of some good Christian teachers and scholars like Dr. Norman Geisler.  Our first task is to print a small book of Pastor Chuck Smith, titled “Effective Prayer Life”. We need $400 USD to print 1,000 copies of this book.  Please pray for the provision of this need, thank you.

Our family is doing well, and we thank you for always covering us with your prayers!  Farah has some health issues for which she is getting treatment.  Please continue to pray for her.

Our children, Joshua and Rachael are doing great!  Recently they’ve passed their first term exams with very good grades.  We praise God for them. Farah and I’ve started our Bible College studies this month, which is going well.

We are so honored, blessed and encouraged to have you as co-laborers and prayer supporters.  We thank you for your great love!  God bless you and your family!  Love from us and our whole team!

In Christ Jesus, Nadeem & Farah Massey
