Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth

hello lovely family!

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”

2 Timothy 2:1
our first missions intern class!

I want to start off by saying that Bryan and I are so incredibly thankful for you and your loving support through prayer as we are continuing in a life devoted, to go into the world and proclaiming the saving good news of Jesus Christ.

We are so excited to share with you what the Lord has been doing in our lives since our last update at the School of Missions 2 months ago! So much has happened and the Lord is teaching us both so much together and individually.

We started a missions-focused internship!

We have started a mission-focused internship with Calvary Chapel Saving Grace in Yorba Linda, California (the same church that held the School of Missions!) Through this internship we are learning how a church practically runs a church plant and what it takes to keep one running. It’s specifically equipping us to be full-time missionaries overseas, with church planting. By taking cross-cultural studies and experience during visions tours and missions/outreach trips. There are also classes that are teaching us how to teach with expository preaching and how to rightly divide the word of God. Specifically for missions, they run an organization that supports missionaries in sending them out, it has been so rewarding to get this insight, administratively!

“For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

James 1:4

Through this step of faith, His Word and the presence of the Lord has been our firm foundation. What joy it is to have assurance in His will and faithfulness! Also, transitioning into service with Saving Grace has been such a blessing as well; the pastors, congregation, and other interns have been incredibly welcoming and loving!

We have gotten the amazing blessing of being part of the work in the Middle East! About 7 of the SGWM interns are committed to following the will of the Lord in their calling to the Middle East. Bryan and I have gotten to pray with them and get to know these faithful soldiers in the Gospel, such a blessing!

Be praying for these individuals (one of them is my sister!). The spiritual warfare and financial step of faith these young people are taking is great! There are 2 newly married couples, 1 guy, and 3 ladies in this team.
