So when He had washed their feet, and taken His garments and reclined at the table again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? “You call Me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am. “If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.” John 13:12-14
In the month of August I had the awesome privilege of teaching at the first pastors conference put on by the Northern Uganda Calvary Chapel Association. This Association was formed in 2018 as a way to help shepherd the Calvary churches in the area. The theme of the event was servant leadership and we took 2 days to look at Jesus example of washing His disciple’s feet. The Holy Spirit guided us as we taught and touched the hearts of the pastors who were listening to inspire them and challenge their methods of leadership. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and growth and we are thankful for what God did. Please pray for us as we prepare to teach at a few more conferences coming up.
I’m very excited that recently Noelle has been meeting with two of our neighbors to teach them biblical womanhood. Noelle is taking them through the creation account in Genesis, showing the equal value men and women have, and explaining the different roles God has given us respectively. Please pray for strength and wisdom for her as she continues through the study with these women, and also homeschools our kids.
“Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.” 1 Tim 4:12
