Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. _____Isaiah 40:30-31
Dear Friends and Family,
Greetings and Happy New Year! We hope and pray for you to be fine, safe and rejoicing in the Lord. We praise God for His faithfulness during year 2019. God did many wonderful things in our lives and ministry and through it.
In our meeting at the end of last year, we recalled some of the important things that Lord made possible for us, and those are like this:
- My book on Christian Apologetics was printed,
- All the inquiries for the registration of our organization were completed,
- Our church’s youth Bible study was started,
- Our Website www.calvarypakistan.com was made and we have put much Urdu Material on that including the translation of Pastor David Guzik’s Commentary of John and Jude.
- We received adults and children Bibles and Audio Bibles for our ministry,
- We were able to go to desert area for 5 days mission, the ministry there continues…
- My son Joshua went with me to the CC Pastoral conference in Nepal, and the list goes on and on.
God is truly faithful and he keeps and protects us as we serve Him here. We are thankful to you for your love, care, prayers and support.
Refreshing Time with the Team
Spending some time with our Calvary Chapel Team during the conferences has always been the most refreshing time for me. We praise God that in November 2019 I was able to go to Nepal with my son and we were able to spend some quality time with teams of two Calvary Chapels while they were serving diligently. This year’s experience was really unique as it helped me and my son to come out of our comfort zones. My son will never every forget his time spent in the Nepali mission field with those amazing people.
The most joyful thing for me was that we also were able to spend some very special time
with our Saving Grace Team. I met some new people, had wonderful fellowship and learned many things from their lives and ministries. We praise God and give Him all glory for the ministries of our all missionary friends in different countries of the world.
Christmas and New Year time
The year 2019 ended with many blessings as we look behind. December was very busy time as usual and it was full of blessings and joy for us and our church members.
One important thing that we always want to do in December is to reach the brick makers for Christmas lunch and fellowship with them. They are ureached people who are considered outcast of the society. During this time we help them with the food bags and warm clothes for winter. We praise God that this year’s fellowship was really great.
Christmas and New Year time with our youth in the village
church was also really amazing. These young men and women were also unreached and now they are very much thankful to be united under the umbrella of Calvary Chapel. The time of Christmas was full of joy, blessings and fun for these groups as well.
Women Ministry
This is truly amazing and very much needed ministry. The women in our society are also kind of unreached group
though they are totally reachable. My wife Farah is leading three Bible Study Groups in three different locations with the help of a lady named Monica. These wonderful ladies in the group also had very blessed fellowship time full of blessing and joy during Christmas time.
New Years brings New Opportunity
The year 2020 has started with really amazing opportunities for us to reach more areas with the word of God through proper online classes and mission trips. We
visited a city named Bahawalpur in October 2019 and went for 5 days desert mission trip. The trip was really very much fruitful and our that mission trip created the opportunity for us to start organized Bible study classes in two cities. We praise God that He has provided the needs for these classes and we need your prayers to start them soon as possible and continue them for those students’ growth in the Word and knowledge of our Lord and for our Lord’s glory.
We are thankful to you for the prayers, care, love and support. We love you and pray for you!
In Christ Jesus
