The Rivera family has been serving at LA MISION PARA NIÑOS A. C, located in Ejido Carmen Serdan, Tecate, Baja California, Mexico, which is an orphanage that cares for disabled “kids” whose ages range from 16 to 49 years old. The disabilities these kids live with consist of various degrees of Autism, Down Syndrome, and severe Cerebral Palsy and others.
Since 2010 the Rivera Family, Miguel, Zurisadai, Azaff, Abdiel and Conchita (Zuri’s sister) have filled in the gap in every role that it takes to keep The Mission running; from dishes, cleaning, changing diapers, overseeing the medical care of the orphans, scheduling, shopping, facilitating groups, administration, directing, teaching the word, cooking, laundry, projects, legal aspects, morning worship, etc.
Many lives have been impacted by The Mission and have been changed through this amazing place and the incredible kids that call it home.
