Walking on Water

Team at the beach

I feel safe and comfortable within the walls of the base, a fence surrounding the building and food provided for every meal. Breaking bread with like minded brothers and sisters as one family. All preparing and equipping one another towards one goal.

48 But he replied to the man who told him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” Matthew 12:48-50

Then we do the work of our Father, reality sets in that we are no longer in training. We’re in the field and peoples lives are at stake. Put in perspective, people will either live eternally in Heaven or Hell. Our lives are devoted towards doing the work of the Spirit and our days are filled with immense joy, sorrow, love, compassion and sometimes even irritation. The best part is the fruit, when we see people come to Christ and celebrate life of a new believer. I’m extremely privileged to be part of Gods work, and I live with gladness and joy that others are with me, whether at home in prayer and support or my fellow brothers and sisters.

Serving food at Calvary Chapel La Mina

In working towards the Kingdom, our team prepared Covid relief bags and helped clean a new church plant Calvary Chapel La Mina. While we were there the teams split into groups. I was in the evangelism team, so we loaded up the relief bags and headed out. The first person we shared with actually came to us. We pulled over to discuss directions and she pulled up with her car before we even began to send invites. Her name was Adrianna and we invited her to church, and gave her a relief bag. We talked to a few more people, however it was a difficult neighborhood because some people seemed apathetic. We invited them to church at La Mina anyways and prayed the Holy Spirit would stir their hearts. Please pray for this community because of the crime and strongholds.

Church Service at La Mina Calvary Chapel

This week we went to a Church Planting conference ran by Rosarito Calvary Chapel. I was so blessed to be there and that I was able to hear from great people who followed the Lord diligently on the field. Calvary Chapel Rosarito was sent by Calvary Chapel Yorba Linda (the church of the school I’m currently in) and has planted 30 church’s in Mexico. The purpose of these churches are to equip and raise disciples to send to all nations. Rosarito has equipped nationals and sent them all over Mexico. I was so encouraged and I could feel my desire to also share and spread the Gospel in such a fruitful way.

I’m excited for the growth and work that God is doing in my life and for using me to reach others. Obeying the Lord is my joy and honor. I’ve wondered, questioned whether I really could do the work of God. I know its because I’m not alone that I can. Its the partnership and love that I have for all of you back home that I am able to keep going. I’m loved and for that I’m privileged beyond measure. I miss you all and I send my love. Thank you for working with me by praying which fuels the work of the Kingdom. May you all be blessed.
