Our Christmas Celebration

Praise the Lord

I thank God that He has kept us safe and sound. I thank Him that He has protected me and my ministry. I would also like to thank all of you who keep praying for me and the believers.

About a month ago one of my relatives died. So, I went to their village and stayed for two nights. In that area, all of my relatives now know that I believe in Jesus.

One of the nights, I was in the room with 4-5 young people and some elders. One of them asked me “Don’t all Christians eat beef during Christmas?” (Cows are worshiped in our country, so it is against the law to eat beef.) I told them that that’s not true. Here people falsely accuse Christians to create hatred for them.

Then, the others started supporting the man accusing me. This gave me an opportunity to share what the Bible says. I went on to share the Gospel with them. After they heard what I was saying, some young people started getting angry at me and saying things against me. But, I knew that my God is with me. He protected me that day. I believe that God will work in the hearts of all who heard me that day.

Another time, I went with my brother to where he works. Some people there were Nirhankaris (devout Sikhs). My brother told them that I believe in Jesus. So, one of them came to me and started questioning me about what I believe. At the same time, he started sharing with me about his faith. I also shared the Gospel with him. He was not willing to accept anything that I was saying. So, I prayed for him and I request you all to pray for him–that God may change his heart.
