Vincent Family November 2025 Missions Blog
Greetings from Mexico. In October, I had another busy but blessed month and in this update, I want to tell you all about it. At the end of October I took my final missions trip to visit our nine year old church plant in Florida. I was honored to send out my good friend (and Calvary Rosarito Assistant Pastor) Aaron Smith and his family to plant the Rock Calvary Chapel nine years ago in South-West Florida. Aaron quickly planted a healthy church that immediately began partnering in and supporting Mexico church planting.
After a year, Aaron began his own church planting class, and a couple years ago Aaron sent out his first church plant. This church plant (Living Springs Calvary Chapel) was historic for us, as it was our first 2nd generation church planted in the United States. But the main purpose of this mission’s trip was to participate in Aaron’s church planting conference. This conference was open to Pastors and leaders throughout Florida, and we had over 100 in attendance.
I was blessed and honored to teach three church planting teachings at this conference. I taught on #1- Creating a church planting culture in the local church, #2- Supporting the Sent, and #3- Starting a church planting class. I traveled with a team of five from our church, which included my good friend Pastor Hugo Limon who we sent out ten years ago to Culiacan and has planted 11 churches in those ten years. It was wonderful for me to see two of my church planters together and to see how they have grown so much over the years.
The conference was uplifting, with the highlight being sending out Pastor Aaron’s fourth church plant. Aaron also invited those at the conference that felt called to church plant to step out in faith, come forward to the stage and get prayed for. There were about ten attendee’s that went forward, including a friend of mine named Oscar that we brought from our church planting program. I am so thankful to see this great mission’s work of church planting continue to spread throughout the United States!
On the church side of things, we had a wonderful baptism celebration at the end of October. As you know, our church has always had the commitment to give the message of salvation at the end of every service, and give our guests an invitation to repent of their sins and place their faith in Jesus Christ. God has been so good to us and we have seen a very good response to that. So far this year we’ve been averaging over 50 first time professions of faith each month.
We also have end of the month baptisms every month where we get to witness these people make public professions of their new faith in Jesus Christ. We are not saved through the baptismal waters, but Jesus did command us in Matthew 28:10 , “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit…”
For a long time, we didn’t see most of those people that had professed faith get baptized, but praise the Lord all that has now changed! Over the past few months, most of those getting baptized have been Christians for two months or less. In our October baptisms just last week, we had 18 friends get baptized over our four weekend services, but the best part of this baptism was 15 of them were brand new believers.
One particular new friend grabbed everyone’s attention because when we asked him how long he had been a Christian, he answered (and I quote)“Just one hour!” This man had made a first time public profession of faith at the end of our 3rd weekend service, he then asked if he could be baptized, and he decided to stick around for our fourth service where he got baptized in front of a cheering crowd. It is such a blessing to see God saving people and giving them the courage and faith to get baptized.
We are also continuing to negotiate over the long prayed for purchase of our church building. I wanted to share with you why I believe purchasing our church facility is so important. God has placed it on my heart to leave this church fully paid for as a legacy for future generations. Our family has been blessed to be here over 23 years now, but we will not be here forever.
And what a LEGACY we could be a part of as we partner together to pass this fully purchased church facility as a long time spiritual blessing and benefit to our beautiful community! A beacon of faith, hope and truth, focused on the message of salvation, Bible teaching, spiritual growth, and church planting. Please keep this future purchase of our building in your prayers.
Finally, I want to thank you once again for your partnership with our family here in the ripe mission fields of Mexico. God has been very good to us and He has brought much spiritual fruit. And we feel honored and blessed that you have chosen to partner with our family and ministry through your prayer and finances. We love you and are praying for you.
Con mucho amor de Mexico, (with much love from Mexico)
