ARRIVAL IN AUSTRIA
Our journey to Austria this last week was better than most of our adventures over the years. One never knows how a long day of flying will pan out, but things went fairly smoothly. Thankful for that!! Mike (our right-hand man) picked us up and drove us through some pretty awesome snowfall as we made our way through the alps to Millstatt, from Munich. It was beautiful, but turned our three hour ride to the castle into FIVE!
PASTORS CONFERENCE East and West
Since we got here, our team pulled off the running of the “2018 CC Western European Pastor’s and Leaders Conference” here at the castle. We had over 115 pastors come, and we were all very blessed. They were so low maintenance, they made it easy for us serve them, and in fact, served us with their love! A team of 15 people from Italy and Germany came alongside our home team here and helped serve the group. Without them, and the Grace of the Lord, we would have never pulled it off so smoothly.
Presently, a small group of us are in Budapest for the “CC Eastern European Pastor’s and Leaders Conference”. Such a blessing to be here for the first one hosted in Budapest… Pray along with us that God would move mightily among our brothers representing Eastern Europe.
CASTLE RENOVATION
These next couple of months here at the Castle will involve renovation on the main floor bathrooms of the castle, in the dining hall. One of the last of the bathrooms that were never changed since the purchase of the castle in 1988. We are also getting settled into our small home adjacent to the castle and will be doing some renovations here as well. Please pray for strength to get these things finished.
OUR GERMAN FAMILY
Another plan of ours is to travel to Germany to visit our family who we seldom see. So blessed to be able to spend time with our daughter Amy and her husband Michael and our three grandchildren Jonathan, Katlynn and Kimberly… We have missed them.
OUR AUSTRIA TEAM
We covet your prayers for a clear hearing of Gods voice, as we seek Him for His plans for the castle in 2018. God has already started to move our hearts concerning the future of this place. We are a little more than excited, to be a part of the bigger picture for this place reaching Europe. A wide door for effective service —I Co 16:9
Part of that will include building our team for the work here at the Castle. We presently have half the team needed. So please pray as the word goes out East & West. This is not an easy task, as every position is a missionary endevour. Please pray that all involved would be richly blessed with faithful supporters, and amazing health.
Blessings upon you – our home team,
Nick and Sue
