Going into the world and preaching the Gospel
Going into the world and preaching the Gospel

Hello Mexico!

Finally, we have finally arrived to our base in Rosarito Mexico! Kayla and I thank you for your continuous prayer and support. This is my first time out of the country and wow, I would have never guessed that there would be such a difference just across the border from America into Mexico. Simple things that we often take for granted like well lit areas and nicely paved roads are really non existent in this area of Mexico. Poverty is very apparent here unlike most of the United States.

Where there is lack of luxury there is an abundance of a friendly, open, and personal people group who make the most of what they have. After just a short time here in Mexico, it is apparent that the people and the culture itself is very inviting in a way that you rarely experience in America, especially through city/suburban living that so many of us are used to.

In this short time our hearts have been more stirred to share the Gospel to all nations! specifically the nations in the 10/40 window. For those who do not know about the 10/40 window it is the rectangular area of North Africa, the Middle East and Asia approximately between 10 degrees north and 40 degrees latitude. This window is predominantly filled with Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists. Approximately 5.26 billion people reside in this area, 3.23 billion being unreached. When I say unreached I mean they have never even heard of Jesus Christ, they have no idea about the Gospel! Our heart absolutely breaks for these people.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

God calls us to bring the Gospel to these people, not just the comfortable places in America, but to the ends of the Earth!

There are many ways that you can support us through this journey and the most important is prayer. As we are living out the Gospel there has been and will be spiritual battle, the need for our loved ones and church body to support us through prayer and intercession is critical. We cannot humbly ask that enough. The power of prayer to our Savior is the most essential.

Another way is financially, the cost of this program for both of us is about $4,600. As students we are encouraged to reach out and utilize the support of the church body and community in this way. Only thing we would ask would be to be in consistent prayer and obedience through this way of support, listening to the Holy Spirit for His guidance. If you feel led to partner with us there is a link at the bottom of the page to get started. We appreciate you for getting behind us!

If you are more interested in what we are specifically doing; keep tuning in and we will do our best to give weekly updates through our time in Mexico!

In His grace,

Bryan & Kayla
