Bryan and I are so excited to start this new and exciting journey! We have been praying about this for awhile and to actually be making active steps towards a direction that we have felt the Lord calling us so deeply is all extremely exhilarating.
“Only fear the Lord and serve Him faithfully with all your heart. For consider the great things that He has done for you.”
1 Samuel 12:24, ESV
About a year ago, we left Calvary Chapel Bible College not really knowing what in world the Lord was doing in our lives. It was honestly stressful, trying and growing. Newly married, both of us having a strong desire to serve the Lord through global missions, we had no direction. But! Thank the Lord in His amazing sovereignty, in that year we grew so much together. Marriage is an adventure all in itself, let me tell ya. All we can do is cling so closely to Him and learn how to love each other through the eye of the Lord. There is obviously so much that we are still learning but having that time to enjoy each other and grow relationally was so important before going into full time mission work.
But where on earth do we start, ya know? We had no direction for about a year. Trying to be faithful to where we are placed and that was in the mid-west of America. Man, it was a hard adjustment for both of us (maybe me more then Bryan haha). We kept (keep) praying for direction throughout that year. Having a loving family surrounding through this time as well was a huge blessing. Doors were opened and closed, all of them leading us to here! Whata ya know! Lord is so faithful to answer prayer and will truly direct you when you are faithful to seeking Who He is. Now we are moving to Mexico, wild!
Bryan and I are immensely thankful for your support and love. We could not have done this without each of you just praying for us and supporting in us in so many ways. Your relationships and care for us has been such a humbling and beautiful representation of God’s love. Thank you all SO much!
