Battleship Church or Cruise Ship Church?

Hello friends & family!

Blessings from Mazatlan! We have arrived safely to Mazatlan! Wohoo! Thank you for your prayers. Here is a beautiful view from where we had breakfast.

This past weekend Calvary Rosarito had a Church Planting Conference that we attended. There is such an importance of being part of a church who sends out missionaries to plant churches. We see in the Bible Paul was an example of that. He went to various places to plant churches and raised up nationals to disciple and preach the gospel to the people of that city. As the body of Christ we want to be like an aircraft carrier church who equips and trains people to take the gospel to where it’s needed. Everyone has a role in order to send the trainee to the battlefield to plant a church. It takes 50 support personal for every 1 aircraft such as a takes 50 supporting believers for every 1 missionary. The cruise ship is the church who stays comfortable, who stays within their community, who doesn’t have a vision to take the gospel to the nations.

Did you know there are 3.2 billion people who have still never heard the name Jesus? Insane, right? Time and time again when I’m in prayer God reminds me of people who don’t know who Jesus is and my heart breaks for them. I want them to be able to experience all that I’ve experienced in Christ.

Beach witnessing: It has been amazing to see people willing to hear you out and interact with you. I was able to share with this couple the importance of building a relationship in Christ. They had a catholic background like most of the people I spoke with. I had asked them if they knew what the gospel was and they had no clue. They weren’t the first ones to say no, there were others as well. I was able to preach the gospel.

More beach witnessing.
