Hidden Women’s Conference

Colossians 3:3

Set your mind on the things that are above not on things of this earth for you have died and are hidden in Christ through God.

Hello everyone!

My last update was about being in Mexico, but I am very happy to say that I am officially interning at Calvary Chapel Saving Grace in Yorba Linda, Orange County. I moved in September 21. I took the train down with my little bag of clothes and started my first intern class on September 22. It has now been 2 months and much has happened since.

Things have been getting busy but I thank the Lord He provides me the strength and endurance to get through the days. I’m truly blessed for all of the growth and the learning.

Within the first weekend that I arrived to the school, I attended a Women’s Conference ran by the church. Rather than slowly meeting people within the church, I was thrown into a weekend long Conference of interactions and deep conversations with the church women. It was a blessing from the Lord that I would meet such wonderful women, and to get to know the church right away. The verse our conference was centered around was Colossians 3

The weeks following were filled with class on Wednesdays, Evangelism outreaches, helping to coordinate events, serving the church and fellowship with each other.

These months have been filled with studying 2 Timothy. A distinctive of Calvary Chapel is to preach verse by verse every week, so I am in the process of learning how to study everything including, context, historical background, original meaning, word study, and audience in order to properly exposit the Word. This helps us to be more aware of the standing we have as teachers and expositors of the word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” ESV

Outreach Evangelism in Yorba Linda

As I continue in the work, I look forward to the work, but a crop first must be planted With patience and great care the season will come when we will reap the harvest and be used to bring life to the starving. The Lord needs laborers and I know the work I put in will not be for vain because of He who oversees and lives in us.

Prayer Request:
