Our Faithful God!
“But the Lord is faithful.” 2 Thessalonians 3:3
Over and over again I see, God is so faithful! As I shared last month in our newsletter our heart for the Bible College, the situation on hand, and our prayers. God answered with His blessings once again and reminded us, when the Lord builds, no one can tear it down. God had put in our hearts to do a one day seminar on “Teaching the Word”. We did not expect the hundreds that showed up, but God already knew what He had planned. The church was full of people young and old, even as far South Sudan! Most showed up the day before full of excitement! Our heart was not only to express the importance of the word but the need for us to desire to grow in it, then teach it. An added bonus to the amazing day and answer to these specific prayers for the Bible College, over 20 people have started the registration process to begin next semester. These future students shared they do not feel forced or are seeking positions, but genuinely want to grow in the Word connecting to our vision and like-mindedness. That is important to us and our heart for the Bible College. It was crazy when Vincent shared with me the number because as we were meeting with our leadership about all the things going on around us, praying and seeking God for His next step, God kept encouraging me and giving me the number 20. I can’t wait to meet all these new precious students and what God will do in their lives. We started an Instagram page for those who want to stay updated on the Bible College, ccmbcug (stands for: Calvary Chapel Midigo Bible College Uganda).

Adding on to God’s faithfulness and answered prayer. The boys and I reached safely. From check point to check point, hand wash station to hand wash station, temperature check to temperature check, form to form, questions to questions, we made it safely. Ian laughed as a few times they mistook him for Zachary and took his temperature again. At one point Zachary had a headache from the travel and we went to prayer. We praise God at the times of interviewing with the CDC and in-between, God helped him through. We had to change our flights leaving earlier, but God provided, helped me prepare everything for both sides, and gave us peace. It is always hard for us to be apart from Vincent (hubby/daddy) and the ministry, but we trust God’s plan and He sees us through. We had an amazing time in South Carolina after we knew we weren’t sick. Spending time with my godparents, visiting Blue Letter Bible and surprised to see an article they wrote about the ministry in Midigo. We also had a blessed time with the amazing church family of CC Greer. I enjoyed time with new friends and got to share with their mission’s leader and wife about the things I had learned about the culture this year that threw me for a loop. Even after 17 years in Midigo, I’m still learning.

Prayer Requests and Praise Reports:
· Please pray for our time in the states. We came to California to find out our health group has changed. Zachary’s issues continue to be complicated. It has not been easy for any of us. We go back to the doctor Tuesday to get bloodwork results and hopefully get the referral for the specialist. Please pray for God’s guidance and a proper specialist. My dad has his surgery this Thursday. My mom and I were able to visit my aunt who will be passing soon. Please pray we are able to visit again, and they will accept the LORD.
· Our school continues to amaze. Recently other schools have come to see our school to learn what makes it so special. What a testimony! This month the sports program is competing against other schools. Some of our students also went for a field trip to learn more about montane vegetation, different soils, and what you can do with them, etc. Please pray as the government has increased their pay for teachers that we cannot meet at this time. Pray we will continue to find teachers who see the children as a ministry and that we may be able to pay them what they deserve. Please also pray over the brick machine purchase.
· Continue to pray that God will provide for the library furniture to be built and finished. We praise God that Calvary Chapel Christian School of CC Downey has donated more books for the library. Please pray God will send some teams to help us get these books to Midigo.
· Continue to pray over the Ebola situation and other situations that are continuing.
