New Adventure
“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
Colossians 3:17

Hey family, hope you are all well and this letter finds you in a place where you are seeking and serving the Lord. We are writing this letter, both with sadness and joy, because we will be leaving the mission field for the foreseeable future. Due to Ryan’s slow recovery from the motorcycle accident, including constant pain in his left shoulder and a lack of mobility with his left arm, we have prayed and believe it is time to step away and step into a new adventure in life.
A great door has been opened to us in Ketchum, Idaho. Cathedral Pines Camp is where we will serve for this summer. Elijah Demaray, a good friend of ours, is the director at Cathedral Pines and has invited us up to serve as Church groups, youth groups, men’s and women’s groups as well as families come up for a Christian camp experience. We will be helping out in many ways, as Ryan proudly wears the badge of DOD (director of dishwashing), that is not a syntax error. Ryan will also have the opportunity to teach devotions with the camp staff, and lead a midweek Bible study at a local Church.
This is an exciting time for us as we seek the will of God for this next season of our lives. Will we plant a church up here in the valley? Will we continue at Cathedral Pines? Will we head back to Peru? Will the Lord lead us to another part of the World? The mind of the Lord belongs to Him alone, please pray for us as we seek His guidance.
Karen and I thank you so much for your love and support over the years. We wish we could fully describe how much you have meant to our lives and the ministry the Lord has allowed us to partner in with you. You have been answered prayer in time of need, a blessing in abundance and self sacrificial for His Kingdom. We love you all and will keep you updated when the Lord reveals His next adventure for our lives. Continue in His grace and mercy, many blessings.
Love, Ryan and Karen Gause

Please continue to lift up the pastoral training ministry in the Peruvian Amazon and the church plants in Mexico.
