Grace Upon Grace
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV
Hello family, we hope you are well and seeking first the Kingdom of Christ. Many of you know that Ryan was riding a motorcycle in a jungle community and had an unfortunate accident. He was coming back from Sunday service and was allegedly run off the road. All he remembers is going off the road and then waking up in a jungle clinic. He suffered multiple fractured ribs, a bruised lung, fractured clavicle, ankle, and back as well as some stitches and bruises. God was very gracious, it could have been much worse. Jacob Anderson who works with the Ticuna people, coordinated with the mayor of the village to arrange a boat to take us to a Colombian clinic and then 414 Missions flew us to the US to receive medical services and for Ryan to recover. We are currently staying with Ryan's brother, Jason, while Ryan heals. We thank you for your prayers and all your support, it has really been a great testimony for the Body of Christ.

We had a dear friend come to visit us to help us start our garden but she had to cut her trip short due to Ryan’s motorcycle accident. We were so blessed and encouraged by her visit!

It was a blessing to be able to have Bible studies on our porch while the access to the church was flooded. It is so encouraging to see the hunger people have to draw closer to the Lord and to grow in His word.

We are excited for the training center dormitory build in San Jose de Cochiquinas. We are a little behind schedule because the water rose very high this year and it is still receding but, we have all the wood and almost all the hardware. Pastor Julio is going to begin the build while Ryan is recovering, so the work will continue and we will be ready to house students in March of 2026. A lot of young men have shown interest in the program and we are very excited to start the discipleship process with young men who are hungry to serve the King of Kings.

Thank you for your love and ongoing support of what the Lord is doing in the Peruvian Amazon Jungle. We are excited to see how the Lord will use the training center to bring glory to His name!

Blessings,
Ryan and Karen Gause
