2 Timothy 2:15 reads: “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Praise God!
1). As I shared in a prayer request last month, by the grace of God and with your prayer support, our pastors’ conference was held on March 25-27 and was very successful.
2). As God opened the way, the Calvary Chapel Pastors Training Center & Bible College students were allowed to share the Gospel once again at the leprosy colony. Some of them opened their hearts to Jesus! (March 29th)
Romans 15:29 reads, “But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.” (NKJV)
As Apostle Paul mentions in the book of Romans, he visited the Roman believers on his way to Spain to be a blessing of the Gospel of Christ for them. He himself was also refreshed by the fellowship with them. The same way our Calvary Chapel Pastors Training Center and Bible College family visited the new tiny Calvary Chapel fellowship in another area. Pastor Raju is the pastor there. We tried to encourage Pastor Raju and the believers there in the work God has been doing and to move further for His glory. But in fact, we were amazed and challenged when we saw the hardship and the zeal of the believers and their pastor for the Lord. Praise God for everything!
Praise Report:
1). Praise God–I was able to visit another area on Feb 23-24(in the East) perhaps there will be a new Calvary Chapel church plant there in the near future.
2). Praise God for another visit to Calvary Chapel in another area on Feb 28- March 03 (in the northwest). The pastor there is Pastor Raju. The Chaudhari family, Pastor Raju’s family and our family all went there for a short term trip to see and encourage the new tiny Calvary Chapel.
Prayer Requests:
1). Please pray for the town of Nijgadh, our Church has been praying for that town and preparing a family to send there to start a Calvary Chapel ministry in the near future. We have been visiting that place for a couple of years. There are now almost 20 believers there! Our prayer is to send a family there who can teach and care for that small group.
2). Please pray continually for Calvary Chapel Lapu. God willing, they need a new building before the rainy season starts. Currently, the church services are being held in a small cottage.
3). Please pray for the students at the Calvary Chapel Pastors Training Center & Bible College. Some of the students are suffering with a high fever. Thank you for your precious prayer support.
2 Timothy 2:2 reads: “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
Calvary Chapel Pastors Training Center & Bible College New Semester
God has answered our prayers for Calvary Chapel Ministry (CCPTC & BC ) in the capital and has given us more students to teach His word and equip for the task ahead of us, so that we can be a part of winning our country for Jesus! This semester I am teaching Systematic Theology and the book of Daniel.
Worship and Music workshop (in the west)
Last month, we were able to conduct a worship and music workshop organized by a Bible Church (a ministry of Calvary Chapel) in association with another Calvary Chapel. Thirty-five young people attended the workshop and finished the three day compact course.
Thank you for your precious prayer support! Prakash, Muna and Eutychus
Happy New Year!Reflecting on 2018, we wanted to update you on how
the year ended and a few of the ministry opportunities that we had to
equip the saints and share the Gospel.
Matthew 9:37 – 38 reads:
Then
He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the
laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out
laborers into His harvest.”
Equipping Leaders and Laborers For the Harvest
It is by the grace of God that He chose us to labor for His
kingdom and prepare other leaders and laborers. We know that the harvest
is plentiful here in Nepal and God has much more for us to do.
There is a desperate need of laborers who are truly equipped with
the truths of the Word of God, unlike those who are merely hired
laborers. God has been doing this work through the Calvary Chapel
Pastor’s Training Center in Nepal. This is where God has given me the
privilege to teach and serve and it very much feels like a family
environment.
Two of our brothers / students have grown in the Word and
graduated last month in December 2018 with a vision to enlarge His
kingdom. I am so proud of these brothers and pray continually
for their passion for the ministry as they have now returned to their
village to take the Word and the Gospel and plant churches to teach the
truth to others.
Gospel Outreach and Medical Camp
I am blessed to tell you that we were able to share the
Gospel among the children in the slum area during several outreaches we
held during November and December. These children come from one of the
poorest areas and live in the slums, so it has been so great to reach
out to them as they may otherwise not know the truth.
We were also able to travel to Dumre (about 5 hours from Kathmandu) to be part of a medical camp. After our time in the village, we visited the leprosy colony last month and two elderly women accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior !
Please Pray for the unstable political situation of Nepal which has been hindering Gospel reach out any possible ways bringing new additional constitutions.
Please Pray for the Sound Doctrinal /Practical Teaching in the Nepali Churches.
Please Pray for the Revival in the heart of Nepali believers.
