Co-Laborers in Christ

Our co-leaders play important roles in the Church!

As the apostle Paul often mentioned in his letters, his co-laborers were a blessing in ministry. The same is true in our day.

It is so often thought that the once-a-week church service and good preaching make churches grow. However, there are some other meetings as well that play important roles in church growth. Praise God for the co-leaders that are faithfully serving the Lord according to their gifts.

Blessings!

He Who Has Begun a Good Work in You Will Complete It.

“For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ”

Philippians 1:5-6

Calvary Chapel Bible College

Our Bible College began this month. God has brought many young students from the four corners of our country. We are excited to spend time teaching and sharing blessings to each other from God’s Word.

Our Church in the City

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Romans 8:28

God is good all the time! God loves His church. He makes it grow and mature through whatever circumstances we might have to go through.

It is such a wonderful blessing to see people coming to God’s Church. I’m thankful to our God for these two brothers, Laxman and Nikesh, and for their faithful work for God’s kingdom. Even though they are going through hard times and financial crisis, yet they are faithful for Christ. Praise God!

He Who Is Faithful Over a Few Things

Matthew 25:23 reads:

Calvary Chapel in the middle eastern part of the country

“His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” NKJV

God’s Work at the Church Plants:

Brother Laxman’s family and brother Nikesh’s family were sent from our church to start a new work in two different places; in the middle eastern part of the country, and in the far east. They were sent by faith in the Lord and they have been faithful with their calling in spite of their family needs. I am pleased to share about what the Lord has been doing through their ministry in their respective communities. The Lord has been drawing people to His Church.

Our Church- the Lord has been working through His Church. We are praying and looking forward to start another new work in a district bordering our district. A Bible Study has already begun and we’re praying that it will turn in to a church soon!

Hungry for the Word of God

Last month, I had the opportunity to teach IBS at a small conference (left) in the East. People are hungry for the Word of God in such places of our country. The gospel is being preached and churches are being planted. Meanwhile, because of the lack of trained leaders, the churches are not being well fed and matured.

As I was there, I was moved by hearing the testimonies of church leaders. The leaders go across the border from time to time into another country. There they attend some sort of seminar. They teach what they learned to their churches a for couple of months and then repeat the same thing again. That is how the churches are being taught. There is really a need for the correct teaching of the Word.

We had a wonderful meeting with the church leaders of the area. We also talked about Bible college recruitment and planning an IBS conference in the future.

We also had a great time to visiting, hearing testimonies, encouraging and praying for the believers of a church plant in another area (left).

We had a children’s talent show (right) at our church. The children are growing and it is great to see them performing their talents for the Lord.

Equipping the Saints

“For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,”

Ephesians 4:12 (NKJV)

Student’s Hike

It was a wonderful time to hike and spend time in prayer with our dear students.

CCBC Music Class

Along with the Word of God, our students are learning music. It is going to be a great blessing for their ministry in the days ahead.

No Condemnation to Those Who Are in Christ Jesus

Sweet Fellowship at the Central Calvary Chapel Church Plant

Last month was filled with so many blessings. For the long time our church had been praying for a couple of places to start new church plants in. Now two church plants have been started! One is in a city in the central part of the country and the other one is in the East. We are very excited to see so many people being saved through Jesus Christ!

Some of our church leader’s families were able to visit those areas and encourage our fellow leaders’ families. Praise God for that!

Romans 8:1 (NKJV) reads:

Our new 2022 semester at Calvary Chapel Bible College has resumed. We are thankful to have more new students.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”

His Mercy Endures Forever!

God has blessed our church so much! All of the members are safe. None of them have been affected by Covid. We have been continuing our worship service. Our online meetings are also going well.

Trip to Visit Believers

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

Comforting Believers

(2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ). NKJV

Last month, I visited another place with brother Laxman to see the believers there. I especially comforted one of the believer’s family that had recently lost their father/husband.

In Thy Paths

Hebrews 12:1-2 reads:

“Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.” (NKJV).

Our Weekly Worship Service

Though the government of our country has not been allowing church gatherings yet because of Covid, we have been worshiping the Lord together. We have been continuing our worship services and other online meetings (our daily women’s fellowship and weekly young adult meeting, prayer and Bible study, and children’s fellowship). We hope that we will all be able to gather together at the church building for services soon.

Blessings!

Our Daily Online Women’s Prayer Meeting

It is my great pleasure to share with my brothers and sisters, and prayer partners about what God has been doing through our church and Bible college. The Covid pandemic has affected everyone so badly all over our country. The lock-down has been continuing. We can hardly go out to buy groceries or vegetables–only between the hours of 6-9am, We are not allowed to be in a group larger than 5 people. We are also not allowed to gather for church services. In spite of all the circumstances, praise God, we are able to continue our online services and meetings. We are trying our best to encourage the church members through prayer and every possible way we can.

We also are doing weekly online worship services, Bible study and prayer meetings, children’s fellowship, and young adult meetings and having women’s prayer meetings 5 days a week.

Blessings!
