God Did the Unexpected!

In the past month, two families have been baptized in Calvary Chapel Lapu (six in total). We continue to add believers. People do not get baptized immediately when they come to the church here. We arrange a time and baptize once or twice a month or a year.

God did the unexpected!
Last week, a woman in our neighborhood who was suffering from stomach pain or evil spirits was having trouble. Together as husband and wife, we went and prayed for her. She prayed also and after some time she got better. Then, we returned home quietly. Five days later, she came to church and believed, Amen!

Now her family comes to church. What a great thing God has done! He openned the door for us to pray. In this community, when people get sick, we take care of the elderly, but this time we went and prayed. Now our small church buildings are starting to fill up. God is working.
