God is Good and His Mercy Endures Forever (Psalm 107:1)
God planted a tiny seed years ago. He has been blessing it and making it grow. As a servant of God, it's always my joy that people come to the saving knowledge of Jesus as their personal Savor and Lord, and fall in love with His Word and become more mature day-by-day.
Weekly Worship Service
Weekly Youth Meeting
Our youth meet every Saturday, after the weekly church worship service. They start with short worship and end with Bible study/sharing and prayer.
Visit with Pastor Nikesh
Pastor Nikesh and his wife were expecting baby. We visited them in September on behalf of our church to pray, encourage, and spend time with them.
Around two years ago, one of the leaders of our church, Brother Rabindra, started a mid-week Bible study in his house. Now it is bringing forth fruit. Three to four new families are attending the Bible Study every week. Praise God for His work!
The team and the Bible Institute students had a special time of worship, sharing, prayer and encouragement together. It was a great time to hear the testimony of sister Christina and Dr. David, sharing from the Word to encouraging our dear students.
We had three medical camps in different locations.
The first medical camp was held at our church. Around 80 people were treated. Out of those 80, around 50 were non-believers. They were people who live in the neighborhood around the church.
Around 70 people were treated at the second medical camp. Those people were mostly Chepang people. The rest were believers from the local church and some non-believing neighbors.
Distributing Snacks to Chepang Children
During the medical camp, some of the team members worked the Chepang kids, teaching them songs, doing crafts with them and sharing Jesus. After the children’s program, the kids were handed some snacks. Those kids walked about 1 1/2 hours to get to the church. They are currently living in the mountain jungles.
The day before the 3rd medical camp, there was a children's outreach and a women's outreach. Around 70 children showed up and heard the Good News.
At the women’s outreach, sister Lily shared about the love of God to the non-believing women. There were around 30-35 women that heard about Jesus that day.
At the 3rd medical camp, around 90 people were treated. The people were from around the Calvary Chapel church there. 90% of the people who came were nonbelievers.
8 students graduated from Calvary Bible Institute Nepal on December 30, 2025. We pray that God will use those people for His work to bring many souls into His Kingdom.
Pastor Bond has a great heart for Nepal and Nepalese. He loves to spend time with the ministers that are serving God. After the Calvary Bible Institute graduation, we had two days of meetings with the Calvary Chapel leaders and past graduates. It was a wonderful time with Pastor Bond, hearing him encourage the Nepali leaders.
We also had a Nepal Leaders retreat. Sometimes it is good and refreshing to get the leaders together, spend time, and share the experiences of life and ministry. We had a blessed time. Thank you for your big heart for His work and His workers. God Bless you!
Christmas Outreaches
We had open-air Christmas Outreaches in different locations. As usual, every year we take advantage of Christmas season to share Jesus with the people. This year too, we shared Jesus and the purpose of His coming into this world.
Child Dedication
In December God blessed Pastor Nikesh with a baby girl. Praise God for the precious gift!
Charis Bible Church Christmas Outreach
As usual, on December 25 we invited our relatives and friends to our Christmas program. We shared about Jesus' first advent, the meaning of His human form—His human birth. There were around 140 people (adults and kids altogether) that stayed for the complete program. It was a wonderful time to share our Lord Jesus with our relatives and friends. The week after Christmas, some of the people who came to the program attended our worship service. Praise God for that! We pray that God will turn the hearts of the rest of the people that attended Christmas outreach and heard the Good News.
New Years Prayer Meeting
Every year, we arrange a prayer meeting on the last night of December at our church. The purpose is to thank God for the all the blessing throughout the past year and welcome the brand new New Year.
Blessing!
