God’s Work Among the Next Generation and a Message of Hope in Nepal
On the day of the memorial service for one of the little girls from our church, many people gathered together to remember her. Both Christians and non-Christians were invited to this special program. During the program, the Gospel was shared with everyone who came. I spoke about how Jesus loves children and said, “Let the children come to Me, for the kingdom of God belongs to them.” Many people heard about the God of the Bible for the first time. It was a wonderful opportunity to share God’s love and message of hope. The family of the little girl was comforted by God’s Word and the prayers of believers. Everyone could feel God’s presence and peace throughout the service. The church believes that one day, many of those who heard the Gospel will come to know Christ.
Prayer Request:
Please pray that all who heard the Gospel during the memorial service will open their hearts to God’s love and come to know Christ, and that the grieving family will continue to find comfort and peace in Him.
A youth camp was held on September 30 and October 1 in West Nepal. Around 500 young people gathered together with great excitement and passion for Jesus. I had the privilege to teach from the Book of Hebrews chapter 11, focusing on the “Heroes of Faith.” I taught three powerful sessions about the faith of Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. It was a wonderful time to see so many young hearts eager to grow in their faith. The camp encouraged the youth to become heroes of faith for the 21st century. Many young people were touched and inspired to surrender their lives to serve the Lord. There is a strong belief that some of them will join Bible college to study God’s Word. They desire to serve in their communities and share the Gospel with others. Through this youth camp, many lives were strengthened, and God’s presence was truly experienced.
Prayer Request:
Pray that God will continue to give me wisdom and strength as I teach and mentor young people. May this camp bring lasting spiritual fruit in the lives of all who attended. Ask God to use these young people to impact their communities and lead many others to Christ.
The first Calvary Chapel Youth Camp in Nepal was held this month. It brought together around 50 young people from Calvary Chapels around the Kathmandu Valley. The camp was filled with worship, Bible teaching, games, and fun fellowship. The youth learned from the lives of Elijah, John the Baptist, King David, and King Josiah. Everyone enjoyed a good lunch and got to know one another more closely. The Bible College students also joined and had a great time with the Calvary family. Some of the youth showed their beautiful dance skills during the talent show. The Bible College students presented a skit called “King of Heart.” It was a wonderful and refreshing time for everyone. The camp encouraged and challenged the young people to live for God with all their hearts.
Prayer Request:
Please pray that the young people who attended the first Calvary Chapel Youth Camp in Nepal will continue to grow in their faith and passionately live for God with all their hearts.
Thank you,
Anand
