New Year New Life
We are thankful to our Heavenly Father for His grace and thanks to all of you for praying and for taking time to read about what God is doing here and for praying and supporting this ministry in Pakistan. We are very excited to share how we experienced the demonstration of grace and salvation through Christ through our ministry among the brick workers who were enslaved from generation to generation and could never ever dear to be liberated from that bondage without any external help.
Whole Tribe Rescued
We never thought that this will be possible for us to get the debts of these all families paid off, since it was millions in Pakistani currency. They asked us many times to help, and all we were able to do was provide them food bags at some special occasions. We praise God that SGWM played a great role in getting us connected with one organization that worked for rescuing such families, and at the same time SGWM also helped us with debt payment through different partner’s gracious giving. We praise God that 35 families have been fully rescued and now they are totally free people.
Each Family’s debt is paid off, they are moved from brick kilns to nearby communities in rented houses, and they have been provided with some source of income so that they can start their new life properly and be able to provide food on the table for their families. They rejoice in the Lord and send thanks to all who helped them to be liberated.
Celebration
Recently we were able to bring all these families at one place where we praised God for such a great work that He has their lives and we also celebrated this special time in their lives, prayed with and for them and they were given training to start a new life, using new earning and saving strategies. We praise God that some important people from USA were also present there. People were very happy and very much encouraged to experience the love of Jesus Christ that was shared with them.
Great Testimony
This special event served as a great testimony of love, care and sharing the love of our Lord with the disadvantaged, before the majority group around us all, especially the people who were appointed for the security. This is amazing that through Calvary Chapel Pakistan, God worked amazingly to build these people spiritually for years and finally liberated them from the bondage of debt giving them proof of His love, care and grace.
These families are filled with joy and thankfulness for God, and we are thankful to all of you for keeping our projects in your prayers and also supporting our ministry and some of these kinds of projects that fully transform the lives of many families. This generation will never be able to forget this goodness of our God, and they will share it with the next generation
Pray for These also
God has opened doors for us to reach many new groups coming from the Hindu background, we have chosen one person from their community whose life was changed many years before and he has been serving in one or the other way to help his people know the Lord. We encouraged this guy and have started weekly Bible classes with him to be equipped and trained to work among his people. There are so many such groups who are very open to the Gospel of Salvation. Please keep these all people and our teams in your prayers.
