Vincent Family June 2026 Missions Blog

Greetings from Mexico. I hope that you had a wonderful month of May! In Mark 12:30-31, when Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment of them all was, he answered,  (And I summarize) #1- Love God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind, and then also #2- Love your neighbor as yourself.  In this update I want to share with you some of the ministries we have at Calvary Rosarito to help us love the neighbors that God has placed around us.

From the very beginning of our church, we have always had orphans attending our church! Presently we have the children from two local orphanages that call Calvary Rosarito their church home. We are so blessed to provide each one of these special little ones with a safe and loving spiritual environment to lead them in the ways of the Lord.

In James 1:27, the Bible tells us this Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. Two years ago a good friend of mine from church named Letty came and told me she had a heart to minister to the widows. When I encouraged her to start a widow’s ministry at the church, that’s exactly what she did. Being a widow is being part of a club that no one wants to be in, yet that’s exactly where these precious ladies have found themselves. Praise God for the hope and encouragement they find in this monthly gathering designed to bring fun, hope, and friendship into their lives. Please keep our “HOPE WIDOW’S MINISTRY” and the 20 plus widow’s that attend in your prayers.

We also have a heart for the hurting that live around us! Drugs are and always have been rampant in our community, and the effects have been devastating. Twelve years ago we had a men’s rehab center that began attending our church. Eventually, I asked their five leaders to take our church planting course. They graduated with excellence and 11 years ago they planted a church 20 miles south of us. (Liberty Ranch Calvary Chapel in La Mision)

Presently we have two rehab centers faithfully attending our church. (One is primarily an English speaking rehabilitation center) The most encouraging part of this for me, is many of these struggling people have found hope and faith in our church as they have professed faith in Jesus Christ for the very first time.

Just last Sunday I preached on Hebrews 13:3, where the Bible tells us “Remember the prisoners as if chained with them…” As I taught on this passage, I was honored to remind our church that we have FOUR ministries that minister weekly in the local prisons. We have a team that visits the local women’s prison in Ensenada. We have two teams ministering in the local YOUTH prisons. (Young men and young women’s prisons, also in Ensenada) And we also have our new church plant (“Free in Him Calvary”) that holds weekly church services in the state prison in Tecate. (El Hongo Prison) Please keep our prison ministries and those that minister in them in your prayers.

Our newest ministry is a single adults ministry we call ZION! Again, this ministry was not my idea, but came straight from a spirit filled congregant that saw a need and offered to fill it. My friend Miles began our new ZION ministry that is focused on single adults ages 28 to 40! We have noticed that many times these important believers feel left out in some of the family based church activities. Because of that, we now have this thriving ministry that is averaging over 50 single adults at their weekly gathering. Praise the Lord!

To finish up I wanted to give you another update on our Legacy Project! As you know, we are trying to raise 1.4 million dollars to purchase our building. We have a tentative agreement with our building owner to purchase the building with 55% down, which comes out to about $750,000 dollars. The good news is in with just two more weeks remaining, God has provided around $600,000 dollars so far. We are so close to reaching the goal. I want to thank each one of you that have prayed with us and believed with us, and given towards this great project!

Yes we are close, but we’re not there yet. So I am continually to pray and believe that together, we are going to raise the full $750,000 dollar down payment! By doing that, we are going to create a Legacy together. A missions Legacy of a Bible teaching, salvation preaching, church planting sending hub that can reach the generations to come, even after we go home to receive our reward in heaven! If you have any questions about our Legacy Project or you would like to give a financial gift, please contact me or my father (Mark Vincent)and we can help you with that.

Finally, I want to thank you once again for your partnership with our family here in the ripe mission fields of Mexico. We feel blessed and honored to serve as your missionaries.

Con mucho amor de Mexico,  (with much love from Mexico)
