Mission Newsletter – April 2026
Dear Friends and Ministry Partners,
April was a month filled with both celebration and faith. As we reflected on Christ's sacrifice and resurrection, we were reminded once again that our hope is found in Him. Easter is one of the most anticipated times of the year for our big girls, and it is always a beautiful opportunity to celebrate the greatest gift we have ever received—Jesus' victory over sin and death.
Throughout the month, we watched the children experience the joy of Easter through Bible lessons, worship, games, egg hunts, special meals, and time together as a family. Seeing their excitement and hearing them talk about the true meaning of Easter is one of the greatest blessings of serving in this ministry. Our prayer is that they will always remember that they are deeply loved by the One who gave His life for them.
One of the greatest blessings this month was having Lili Johnson serve alongside our team for ten days. Her willingness to jump into daily life at the mission, spend time with the children, encourage our staff, and simply love everyone around her was a tremendous gift. We are thankful for the joy, compassion, and servant's heart she brought during her visit. God continually reminds us that ministry is stronger when His people serve together, and we are grateful for friends like Lili who answer that call.
Medical Update
April was also a significant month medically for one of our girls.
After months of appointments, evaluations, specialist consultations, and prayer, Sela successfully underwent her tracheostomy surgery. While surgery is never easy, we are thankful that the procedure went well and that she continues recovering under the careful supervision of her medical team.
This journey has required countless doctor's visits, laboratory tests, imaging studies, and many hours of preparation. We are incredibly grateful for God's faithfulness through every step and for the excellent care provided by her physicians. Please continue praying for Sela as she adapts to this new stage of her care, gains strength each day, and continues making progress in her recovery.
In addition to Sela's surgery, we continued providing routine medical care and follow-up appointments for several of the children to ensure their ongoing health and well-being.

Thank You
As we celebrate the hope of the resurrection, we are reminded that this ministry is possible because so many people faithfully stand with us. Your prayers, encouragement, and financial support allow us to provide not only a safe home for these children, but also the specialized medical care, education, discipleship, and unconditional love they deserve.
Thank you for investing in lives that are being transformed every single day.
Prayer Requests
As we enter a new month, we would appreciate your prayers for the following:
Pray for Sela's continued healing and a smooth recovery following her tracheostomy surgery.
Pray for wisdom and strength for our staff as they faithfully serve the children each day.
Pray for continued provision for the ministry's daily needs, especially medical care and ongoing therapies.
Pray for protection over every child, staff member, volunteer, and missionary serving at the home.
Pray that God would continue bringing volunteers like Lili who are willing to share their gifts, love, and encouragement with our children.
Thank you for faithfully partnering with us in this ministry. Every prayer, every gift, and every word of encouragement reminds us that we are not serving alone. We are grateful for each one of you and for the many ways God uses you to make His love visible to the children we serve.
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."
1 Peter 1:3
With love and gratitude,
Miguel, Zurisadai, Azaff, Abdiel, Conchita
