I SAW JESUS IN A DUMP
THE DUMP
Life in Rosarito can be a dream for many, but only 30 minutes away from this cute little beach town lives a community of people stuck in a pile of trash.
Trapped in addiction, debt, homelessness, and many other personal reasons.A group of about one hundred people live in a trash dump, building shelters out of scraps.
In the midst of all this darkness, a small ministry is alive there, reaching the people.
Every week, a pastor comes up to the dump and ministers to these people.
I was able to take part in this ministry, praying for people, handing out lunch, and listening to them.
I watched as four people gave their lives to Christ and listened to others share how Christ changed their lives, giving them peace and love beyond what this life has to offer. I saw Jesus in the people tucked away in piles of trash.

…
CHRIST FOR ALL
The next couple of days were very eventful, from hosting local outreaches to attending church services to prayer meetings. A lot of balloon animals and face paint were involved. It was a joyful time getting to meet fellow believers and being able to pray for anyone and everyone.

CALVARY CHAPEL ROSARITO
…
It’s only been one week since I’ve been here, and it’s already been such a blessing to see the work of the ministry God has been doing here in Rosarito, as well as the fruit and blessings that have come from it.
If you’d like to help support this journey, it would be such a blessing to receive emails of support and prayers for me to be bold in sharing the gospel. I do still need to raise $1075 in tuition out of $2700, and if you feel led to give, and come alongside me and partner with me in this calling, there is a giving link below. As you partner with me, we together can see many come to Jesus as I GO and you send me! Thank you so much.
God bless - Mia M.
