I CAN’T SAVE ANYONE

I CAN’T SAVE ANYONE

This week I took a look around and realized every soul deserves something I can’t give them. But it is something I can tell them about... something that would change the trajectory of their lives forever... something that changed mine.

That something is the love of Christ!

Hi everyone, this is Mia back to give you an update on the past week and how God has been moving.

We’ve been learning in class to count the cost of being a missionary. Sometimes when we go out into the field we might see stories of complete human brokenness, spiritual attacks, and cultural misunderstandings.

Now I may not be in a dangerous field, in fact I’m only an hour from the U.S border yet the cultural difference has made a huge impact on me. Trying to speak with others about Christ has become a barrier that I’ve never experienced before but as I’m learning, actions always speak louder than words.

Many times I find myself surrounded by children who I do not share a language with yet we are still able to connect through games, toys, skits and joy. While I’m still learning how to connect with adults, I am just constantly reminded of Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

It is just such a blessing to be able to share the mightiness of Christ with the littlest of people.

Back in Class

We have been reading The Pursuit of God by A. W. Tozer and I realized how little effort I have put into seeking God. Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” The book expanded on what it means to pursue God in our daily lives and it convicted me because, though I may say I am but a worm (Psalm 22:6), I realized I am not living as humble and meek in my day to day life as I say I am.

Only God Changes Us

I further come to the conclusion being surrounded by so many believers and hearing testimony after testimony that it wasn’t a single person converting anyone that changed lives but it always was and has been Christ changing those who call on His name, Jesus.

If you’d like to help support this journey, it would be such a blessing to receive emails of support and prayers for me to be bold in sharing the gospel. I do still need to raise $831 in tuition out of $2700, and if you feel led to give, and come alongside me and partner with me in this calling, there is a giving link below. As you partner with me, we together can see many come to Jesus as I GO and you send me! Thank you so much.God bless - Mia M.
