Going Up!
Going Up!
"Psalm 46:10”
It is essential that as Christians we know when to run when God says run and when to wait when God says wait. No human being is perfectly balanced with both. Some prefer action and activity, while others prefer calmness and waiting before deciding anything. Only through the fullness of the Holy Spirit and His guidance can we keep peace with the plans God has for us. Don't let go of His hand!

My first parent and guardian meeting
I have just started a new role as a caregiver for young people with difficult pasts. They grew up their whole lives in foster homes, and my job is to help them integrate into society and become independent. As part of this, I had to attend my first parent-teacher meeting and receive the report of low performance for one of them.
It has been a very interesting, although unexpected, experience. I had not planned it this way.At this point, I thought my entire focus would be on Almería, but God's plans are perfect. Often, His plans are not what we expected.
Now we find ourselves in this stage where I feel everything is moving slower. My time has been divided to fulfill my new responsibilities and provide for my family. But the reality is that the plans for Spain have not changed. It's like a roller coaster; it may be moving slower for now, but it's still progressing, and very soon we will reach the highest point and begin the exciting descent.“In stillness, we also learn, get to know Jesus, and grow spiritually.”
Manuel and Eunice leading the After Glow prayer meeting at Calvary Maranatha
Psalm 46:10 says:
Be still, and know that I am God;I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
This is the perfect verse for the stage we are in. Being still in the Kingdom of God is not a passive thing. We are still KNOWING that He is God.In stillness, we also learn, get to know Jesus, and grow spiritually.
As we reach the top, life continues its course, and we keep preparing ourselves in every possible aspect.- Eunice has been feeling weak, and although we discovered she has anemia, the doctor ordered more tests to identify the root of the problem. The doctor confronted us a bit about our lack of exercise. It is definitely something we need to work on.
- Manuelito also had an eye exam. We had already noticed he couldn't see, but the first time he was examined, he had more serious problems because even with glasses, his eyes wouldn't focus. We waited a bit, trusting in God, and this second time his eyes responded well, he received his new glasses, and now he sees much better.
- Our three children participated in an orchestra and choir gathering that was a complete success.Dayna participated in the choir, and Ammi and Manuelito played violin as part of the orchestra.
We trust that each skill will be useful in God's hands once we are in Spain.

Almería Cathedral
Almost 30% of the population of Almería are foreigners. Many of them are Muslims. That is why Almería is a strategic place for them to hear the good news of salvation and forgiveness in Jesus.
