“The Name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe,”

— (Proverbs 18:10, NKJV)

Jesus is absolute safety for His people. No matter what we have going on, just His name can bring peace, hope, and joy to our hearts. We serve an immeasurably good God, and He pours out His mercy, love, and grace on us in ways that I don’t deserve and most certainly don’t see coming. Each encounter with His unconditional ‘agape’ love makes me more and more aware of my need for Him, and His goodness toward me. I’m not sure where you find yourself today, but I pray that He would be your safe tower. To protect you from every lie and scheme of the enemy, the temptations of your own flesh, and root you firmly in Himself! That by His grace and strength you would be rooted in Him, and find Him to be all you need and so much more.

It doesn’t feel like 3 months have gone by, but here we are, it’s June and there’s so much to share! Since the conference in Mendoza, it’s been full speed ahead! We’ve been in full-on planning mode for CBI Argentina and it’s been a blast! God is so good in how He equips us for His work. Renata and I have been working on the plans for the renovation of the existing 3 buildings on campus and are hoping to get rolling on long-term planning soon. We already have teams coming out and many who want to come and be a part of the preparation for this up-and-coming semester in Argentina, thank you Jesus! Thank you for prayers and please continue to pray! Please pray for us to have the wisdom and the the grace to implement the vision of Pastor Cory and Gospel South America in the creation of CBI Argentina. We want to train up the next generation of church planters, pastors, and missionaries, and God has opened the door to do just that. 5-acres on the outskirts of Mendoza, Argentina waiting to be cultivated for the glory of His Name. We’re so excited to help continue this work and vision of the Great Commission in Mendoza, Argentina this fall!

Out of One Season and Into Another

This season has been bittersweet. I’m so used to saying goodbye to students we might not see again, but, to add to it all, we’ve been prepping to move ourselves to Mendoza, Argentina this fall. As I write this I’m flying to the Bay Area where there will be 2 months of opportunity to share about the work that God is doing in South America, in our lives, and those the ministry is touching. We will be stateside until July 31 when we head back to Perú before starting the move to Argentina. It’s a blessing and I’m so thankful the Lord has given us this opportunity to live for Him in this way. There’s a lot of movement and change in mission’s, and it can be difficult, but when the result is seeing His Great Commission fulfilled (even in small ways) it’s worth every ounce of difficulty. I love what Paul shares in 2 Corinthians 5:14-15, “For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again,” (NKJV).

May 29 marked the 5th graduation I’ve been able to witness while being a missionary and serving with Calvary Trujillo and CBI Perú. What a blessing to witness the growth, spiritual maturity, and heart of service that Jesus is forming in the lives of these students. They are servants and they love Jesus! Thank you for your prayers, and please be praying for us as we now transition into this new work to continue this heart of CBI and CBI Perú in Mendoza, Argentina.

Exciting News!!

Renata is pregnant!!

Please be praying for us as the Lord has blessed us with an amazing addition to our lives! We’ve got a baby Voisin on the way and at almost 7 weeks baby appears to be healthy and growing well. Please pray for wisdom and vision for us as a family. We want to be individuals but a family whose heart is after the Lord in all things. And as a father, I want to disciple my children well and show them what it means to know and receive the love of Jesus. To be His and to walk with Him in the midst of all that might come our way and that we would be about our Father’s business.

Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support—the Lord is so good to us. Thank you for being His hands and feet in our lives. I can’t wait to introduce Renata and Lord-willing, our baby to you soon!

Please be praying for their health as our travel has been difficult on momma and baby.
