Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
Merry Christmas, everyone!
I apologize for sending December’s newsletter in January. I pray that you all had a wonderful Christmas season. As we step into 2026, we are filled with expectation and excitement to seewhat the Lord is doing among all M.T.S. students and within the unity of our church family at Calvary Chapel Saving Grace.
During this Christmas season, we were reminded once again of the true reason we celebrate. The miraculous birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There has been a beautiful spirit of joy, love, and service in the atmosphere at Saving Grace. Together, we decorated the Upper Room, our sanctuary, and it was such a blessing to serve side by side with the students in unity and love. Many hands truly do make light work. To God be all the glory for what He is doing in and through each one of us.
We are no longer who we once were, but day by day, we are becoming more like Him. As we enter 2026, I carry great expectations while intentionally listening for the Lord’s voice, His guidance, and His direction. By the power of His Spirit, I see how He continues to shape and mold me to become a more effective disciple of Jesus Christ. I eagerly anticipate where God will send me next, and I thank Him my Lord, Savior, and King for all that He has revealed and taught me.
Psalm 5:1–3 “Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up.”
Even in the midst of daily storms, I praise His holy name. As I die to self, I am reminded to be still and know that He is God, and that He holds me securely in His hand.
Isaiah 41:10–13 “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
These verses have become a part of who I am in Christ.
Lord, I ask You to direct my steps after the completion of the M.T.S. program. I carry a vision of serving in a small village where the love of Jesus is needed and where I can share Gospel stories and teach the Way. I believe this calling may be in the Middle East, and I place this desire before the Lord. I share this vision so that those who partner with me through prayer or financial support may be part of the testimonies God will bring forth.
This month has been very busy as our church worked together to raise funds for upcoming mission trips. This year, five missionaries were sent out and it was a powerful testimony of obedience and faith.
I am deeply grateful to be part of the M.T.S. program. While learning new skills, especially with technology has been challenging, your prayers and encouragement have helped me grow. Being able to send this newsletter is a small but meaningful victory.
It truly takes the entire church working together to send missionaries out. I pray that all the fruit from these journeys to the unreached world would bring honor and glory to the name of Jesus.
Amen.
