Adam Fulmizi 2021 CSOM Student Update 4
It was Sunday morning, a team and I were leading worship at Calvary Chapel Otay Mesa where we did multiple outreaches last week. As I looked out into the congregation I saw hands raised and hearts singing out to the Lord. Singing in Spanish together with the church there, all of a sudden I held back tears as the great truth of Revelation 7 became tangible to me. It says, “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…”

Think about it, Church. When you get to heaven and you’re worshipping the all powerful, all knowing, holy Son of God, you will not be alone. There will be more than your local church. There will be more than your family. There will be people from across the world who grew up in a different culture, language, and background than you. All with a single purpose. To cry out, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” May we press forward and as we eagerly wait to be perfectly united together in worship on that day!
Otay Mesa outreaches
“When you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, (you) were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit” (Ephesians 1:13). You have heard this gospel and look forward to that glorious day of being united with our Lord forever, but did you know that over 3 billion people don’t even have access to hear the message of Christ? There are billions of perishing immortal souls that have yet to hear the name of Jesus.
The 10/40 window is an area of the world where the majority of unreached people groups live. To be unreached with the Gospel means more than to not be saved. These billions of souls are not only dead in their trespasses, but they currently have no one near them that preaches the gospel of Christ. Whether you have heard of the unreached before or not I encourage you to join me in doing as Jesus commanded, “pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:38). May he send more into the harvest, that on that day we will see tribes and nations yet to be reached crying out together, “Salvation belongs to our God!”

- For Otay Mesa to be radically transformed by the gospel
- For God’s provision for myself and everyone else at the school
- For staff and missionaries teaching us
- That the team would be unified in all we do
