TESTIFY OF THE TRUTH

Hi family and friends,

This past week at the Calvary School of Missions, I was blessed to hear from Pastor Rob Douglass . He shared about the open door the Lord provided for him and his wife to testify of the truth and teach the Word of God in 2 different countries to unreached people groups by the direction and leading of the Holy Spirit. There are currently more than 2 billion people who have yet to hear the Gospel, we as believers need to continue to testify of the Truth who is JESUS (John 3:16-17). Pastor Rob expounded on the difference between Reached and Unreached and what a Pioneer Missionary is. He talked about the 4 seasons a Missionary goes through : Uproot, Replant, Reroot, and Reproduce. Uproot, The first season happens when the missionary gets uprooted and ready to move to the country they are being called to so this a preparation and sending stage. The second season is the Replant season when the missionary is being planted in the new country. The third season is called Reroot where the missionary is growing new roots and abiding through the process that can be difficult and painful as they are adjusting to the culture but they are to abide and persevere. The fourth and last but not least season is the stage of Reproducing in which the fireworks go off and where discipleship begins to happen as respect begins to grow in the community you are established in and disciples begin to multiply among the locals and they are being raised up to be able to lead the church plant and reproduce among their own community following the model given to us in Matthew 28:18-20 “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. We also went through the book The Pursuit of God by A.W. Towzer. If you have me on Instagram you might have seen this quote on my stories before, coming across it in this book was a treat

“Only to sit and think of God,
Oh what a joy it is!
To think the thought, to breathe the Name;
Earth has no higher bliss.”

We were blessed to visit two different churches Calvary Chapel Las Playas and Calvary Chapel Rancho Santa Cruz. We hosted 3 different Outreaches. The first outreach , we partner with Calvary Chapel La Mina. The Second outreach took place in Rosarito Beach. The Third Outreach we partner with Calvary Chapel Rancho Santa Cruz where I was able to share my testimony and testify of the Truth (Jesus) who set me free and lifted to the veil from my eyes and called me to follow Him and He extends that invitation to ALL.

I was truly blessed by a divine appointment at Calvary Chapel Rancho Santa Cruz, after Sunday service, I approached and said hi to this sweet young girl which sparked a conversation and by the leading and prompting of the Holy Spirit I randomly or divinely I should say I asked her if she wanted to go over some scriptures together and I opened up to the Book of John and as I’m asking her questions about the text she goes on to share that she has been asking around for a while about the scripture I was expounding on and she truly was confused and wanted to know who the scripture was talking about she was in this specific scripture which was John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” She asked me who is “ The Word “ referring to? So I explained to her “The Word” is referring to Jesus. Jesus is the Word that became flesh and dwelled among us as it is written in John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” I was amazed that the Lord would send me all the way from California to answer this young girl’s question in Mexico. The Lord had me in the right place at the right time. I was really blessed also to go through my personal devotional time through the book of John and going through the book of Acts where the disciples are testifying of the Truth through Judea, and Samaria and other parts of Israel and beyond. I will leave you with these verses :

Acts 10: 34-43

Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all— that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree. Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.”
