Taking A Page Out of Abraham’s Book
July Update
“By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he left, not knowing where he was going. By faith he lived as a stranger in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Issac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise; for he was looking for a city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.”
Hebrews 11:8-10
Hello Friends and Family!
I hope this newsletter update finds you well. I write this newsletter a little earlier than usual because I have some exciting things to share! We are approaching the 3-week mark of being here in Mexico! Time is truly flying by. This experience has been so rich as I get to not only walk alongside these students as they seek the Lord, but truly do that myself. We’ve done handfuls of outreaches, church takeovers, and worship nights, it truly can’t get better than this.

The ministry has been impactful and the fellowship is soo sweet <3
The verses above in Hebrews 11 have managed to put together what the Lord’s been speaking to me these past few weeks. As you know, I felt the Lord call me home after my year in the mission training program. Not to end my training but to re-engage with my home church, and none of that has changed. However, about three years ago, I went to Thailand on an exposure trip and the Lord burdened my heart for the lost and specifically the people of Southeast Asia. From then on, I dreamed of a day that I could go back to those people and just visit other places in that region.
The Lord has given me the opportunity to attend the Calvary Chapel Thailand Conference in September with my church and go to Bali, Indonesia on a vision tour! This is something I’ve been praying through for some time now, but feel confident in moving forward in faith. I thought a lot about Abraham and how his story really outlined the heart of missions. Faith!! Stepping out into the unknown, living in a foreign land, and trusting that wherever the Lord leads will bring you to what He ultimately has for you. This trip is purely just to pray and see if the Lord would provide a way for ministry there. Given the fact that it lies in the area I feel called to reach, I couldn’t help but step out in faith and see if the Lord might have something for me.
For me to go, I need to raise about $2,000 to cover flights and expenses. With that and this summer's trip, it's a good chunk of finances. If I'm being honest, this discouraged me. This to me seems like a huge mountain to move. And truly it is for me, but not for Him. I rest in Matthew 17:20 “And He said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for I truly say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” We serve a God who has unlimited resources, and I believe He will provide where He guides. So I will take a step and believe that if the Lord wants me to be there, He will get me there. I just want to stay in His perfect will.
If you would like to partner with me in this financially, I have my giving button below. Anything and everything is always appreciated deeply. And I thank those who have already supported me this far. Above all else, I ask that you would intercede in prayer for myself and others who are praying through this opportunity. Pray for the people of Indonesia and for the ones desiring to plant a church to be led to the right people and ultimately be led by the Lord.
Prayer Requests:
Financial provision for this vision tour!
For the students and leaders
Continual guidance in my call
Health and safety for everyone here!
