Exciting News!
The 5 of us will be taking a trip up to Rosarito for 2 weeks! We would love to get together with friends, family, and supporters and catch up on life and ministry. We do apologize for it being so long since we have sent out a newsletter, but we have been busy doing the Lord's work here in Calpulalpan.
Since our last newsletter, we've been faithfully following God's guidance to fulfill His will for our lives . Here is a list of some of the things we have been working on in the past months:
Continued with the church planting/leadership classes
Personally disciplining others (leaders and the next generation)
Brian has been discipling Pastor Ernesto, Pastor Esau, and Angel
Brittany has been disciplining Esme, Dennis, and now Estef
Had our first engagement in the church (Wedding will be in October)
Have given Biblical counsel to many individuals and families
Our church celebrated it's 3rd anniversary in April!
Praise God we have been averaging 70 adults and 12 kids in our Sunday services.
We started a Bible study in Puebla on Feb. 6th
Mainly with Brian's family that lives there but also a few other locals.
We have been meeting in a coffee shop in Puebla where Brian has been teaching through the book of Mark.
It has been amazing and such a blessing to see how Brian's family is open to hear and study the Bible together with us.
This is very new for them, but they are learning a lot!
Our kiddos have all had birthdays and are growing fast!
Joshua is now 6 and is in Kindergarten. Brittany is doing homeschool with him with the ACE schooling program. He loves monster trucks and dinosaurs right now!
Kimberly is 4 now and we are loving seeing her grow! She has such and kind and helping heart. She loves helping in the kitchen with her mom & dad. She loves everything with princesses and pink.
Our little Cristina is about to be 1 and 1/2! She loves trying new things and is a very active and social little toddler. Her favorites right now are seeing puppies and eating apples!
Our church gave a silence and solitude retreat where we went off into nature to have a time dedicated to praying to God, hearing His voice, worshiping together, hearing a few short devotions, and encouraging one another.
This is not something commonly done here in Southern Mexico. The people who came were greatly blessed and so were we!
We have also been working very closely with Pastor Esau & his wife Esme as we will be sending them out (as our first church plant) in July/August of this year!
God is already providing for this future church plant! They have had 2 large TV's, 40 chairs, and people have been given to them to make church t-shirts to sell to raise funds.
Click HERE to see an amazon wish list that they have put together for things that they would like/need for their future church.

Here are some prayer requests that we have for this season of life:
For the people that we are personally disciplining, that they may also start to disciple others.
For the current ministries and future church events in Calpulalpan, Tlaxcala.
For our Bible study in Puebla: That God would help us to know the best way to reach our family and the locals for Christ!
For our family & our marriage: That God would help us to keep our priorities straight and our family and marriage strong in order to continue serving here in the mission field.
For homeschooling with Joshua & Brittany: That God would give them patience with each other.
For Pastor Esau, his wife Esme, and their children as they are only about 2 months from being sent out to Orizaba Veracruz to plant their church.
For Brian and I to be attentive to God's voice for what steps to take next and when.
Thank you so much for taking some time out of your day to read about our work here on the mission field and how God is doing such amazing things! If you will be in the Rosarito area from June 4th - June 18th and would like to get together with us please shoot us a message and we would love to get together with you! We are also planning on doing a fundraiser/family and ministry update dinner while we are up there. As soon as we have the details we will post them on Facebook. May God bless you and your family!
