Don’t be fooled, the title is not clickbait. By the grace of God we arrived in Rosarito last night and after dinner we had our first class from Pastor Trent on Surrender. At the tail end of his teaching we were instructed to write down our deepest desires and to go burn them (literally we burned them in a small campfire). And then we went to bed. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room that night….

I’m so excited to share this first short update with you! Thank you for signing up to stay connected and for being part of this amazing journey God has placed on my heart. I truly couldn’t be here without your prayers, encouragement, and support.

As many of you know, this is my first mission trip, and just getting here has already been a faith building experience! I came in with a heart full of excitement and anticipation, ready to see how God would move, and He has already in many ways!..

Well I am finally here in Mexico with my CSOM team. It felt like an eternity that would never come when I signed up for the school, but time proved me wrong. From signing up, to leaving my job at the bank, to even coming down to Yorba Linda a week early, (that was the longest part) it seemed like it was all coming too fast, but also too slow….

Hello everyone, this is Pina.

Praise Report!! We made it safely to Mexico!! The Lord protected us and got us over the border safely; however, we ran into a hiccup, and all our documents had to be checked one by one. It didn’t take too long, though and we got on the road pretty quickly. I had a few concerns about sleeping arrangements and food; however, God prepared the way! It is better than I expected!
