Calvary School of Missions Newsletter
Hello friends and family!
There are new and exciting things happening in my life and I truly want you all to be a part of the work that the Lord is beginning in my life. Here I want to share with you the way God has led me to, by His Spirit, the Calvary School of Missions (CSOM).
The Calvary School of Missions is a six-week summer program in Rosarito, Mexico, designed for those who are interested in or feel called to missions. It provides the opportunity to seek God's heart for the nations alongside fellow believers and to be obedient wherever the Lord may be directing them in the mission field.
This exciting journey has already started at our orientation on Saturday the 27th of June!
The next morning we attended first service and second service at Saving Grace Calvary Chapel! Both services were able to pray over us collectively which was just what we all needed before we hit the road!

When we arrived in Mexico to the Connections House (where we are staying), we were met warmly by the staff, and spent dinner time eating delicious tacos and fellowshipping with one another. After we all got settled into our rooms, we had orientation led by the Connection’s staff, followed by a time of worship and prayer to end the night. In these times of prayer and worship we are provided a space to process all of the information we’re learning, allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to our hearts, convicting us, counseling us, and drawing us ultimately to God’s own heart.
I’m now emailing you all on June 29th, where we’ve had a day full of time in the secret place with the Lord, diving into the Bible, eating good food, and class where my hand is hurting from taking so many notes! This is the first full day of being in Mexico and so far I’m enjoying struggling to speak to the staff in my very broken Spanish, learning about the early church, good communication, and forming solid relationships with fellow believers.
You all can expect these six upcoming weeks to include gaining a biblical foundation for missions though Scripture, insights from veteran missionaries who have experience on the field, partnering alongside local churches in outreach and evangelism, and gaining insight on practical tools for long-term ministry.
I will be sending out weekly newsletters to update you all on the work the Lord is doing, and prayer requests for the needs of the community. All the students will be receiving guidance in writing these newsletters so that I am able to give you all a front row seat to be able to witness firsthand what the Lord is doing in my life! In these six weeks I hope to align my heart with the Lord’s heart for the lost, and to align my heart with his desires for my life!
I believe that as Christians, we have an obligation to be a part of The Great Commission, spreading the gospel, being discipled, and making disciples. But that call does not only extend to our local communities, we are called as believers to extend that message to the nations! Scripture says in Matthew 9:37-38 that “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” So it’s evident that the odds are in the believers favor in regard to men and women around the world who are ready to hear the good news! Because there are few laborers, I ask that you prayerfully consider supporting me if the Lord lays it on your heart, whether that be financially or prayerfully, so that I have the ability to share the gospel to those who have not heard!
