Pouring Myself into Teaching God’s Word

I thank God that He has kept me safe and that He is using me for his work here in the North.

Teaching at the Bible College

This semester we have 3 Bible College students. It really blesses me to see how they are growing and learning! Sometimes I have to work really hard to explain everything to them, because they have not really studied the Bible before coming to Bible School. They are not familiar with all the stories of the Bible. It gives me joy to see them working hard to study the scriptures and grow closer in their relationships with God. It also encourages me to work hard for them. Since they are also studying the Bible by themselves they have many questions that they keep asking me. I thank God that He has given me this time to really pour myself out for these guys and disciple them.

Since 2017 I have been working with the youth of my church. It’s really hard to work with them since sometimes they seem like they are really of fire for the Lord, and then other times they seem to be compromising. All of them are from Hindu families and none of their family members are believers. There is no one else who encourages them to pursue God. I am so happy that they are following God. I am planning to visit them regularly and get to know their parents so that I can share the Gospel with them, since no other Christian visits and shows the love of God to them.

Last month one girl invited me to come to her house and pray for her family and her mother who was sick. So I got to meet her parents and pray for them. I have the youth meeting every Friday evening. Right now, I am teaching from the book of James. Sometimes all of them come for the youth meeting, but there are days when I am the only one who is present. But I know that I need to be faithful and diligent towards this ministry. If you have any ideas and suggestions as to how to connect with the youth and bring them closer in their relationship with God then please feel free to write to me. Sometimes I see them get influenced by the pleasures of this world and their worldly friends.

Prayer Request

  • Please pray that I may grow more in the Lord and His understanding and that I may be used more for Him.
  • Please pray for my health, lately I have been a little bit sick.
  • Please pray for the students, that God would give them wisdom and understanding to study and grow in the Lord.
  • Please pray for the youth that I minister to, that they may also fall in love with Jesus and may not get influenced by their worldly friends.
  • Pray for the families and parents of the youth that they may also come to faith.

God bless you,

An Unexpected Salvation!

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I thank God that He has chosen me for His ministry. We have started our Bible School here. This semester we have 2 students. I am almost done with teaching the class Bibliology. I have been really growing and learning as I teach, study, and prepare for the classes. This semester, since I have only 2 students, I am able to spend a lot of time with them individually. After class I encourage them, answer their questions, and pour into their lives. I am seeing them really grow in the Word and in the Lord!

One of the students is from the central part of the country. He was born into a Christian family, but he was not saved before coming to the Bible school. In Bibliology class, I taught about the purpose of the Bible. One of the points that I taught was Salvation. During that class that student told me that he had never accepted Jesus as his personal Savior. After the class he accepted Jesus as his personal Savior! Now I am seeing him grow in the Lord. One early morning I went in his room and saw him praying on his bed and I was filled with joy to see the work of God in his life. I also gave him opportunity to share the Word in our morning devotion and he did a wonderful job–far better than I expected.

I thank God that He has given me great students, and that I can really disciple them and see the work of the Lord in their lives.

Prayer requests:

•Please pray for me- that I may be a good leader and teacher to the people whom God has given me.

•Pray for wisdom and understanding as I study the Word.

•Pray for both of the students–that they may have a fruitful time here at the school.

•Pray that the Lord may bring more students who are committed to the Lord in the coming semesters.

Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support! Pastor Pastor 9

Seeing the Fruits of Our Labour

Greetings Everyone,

Thank you for partnering in the ministry of the Gospel through your prayers and financial support! The Lord is doing mighty works here!

The pastors who are working with me are also doing great in their ministries. I have been visiting their church fellowships and have been blessed to see the believers walking with the Lord. It encourages me every time I visit these believers and talk to them. They are growing in their faith. They always ask me good questions from the Word and other questions regarding the Christian faith. It is good to see them standing strong for their faith in spite of the challenges some of them face from family members who are not Christians.

I am also doing some medical training. This training is especially meant for those who are involved in ministry. This training is a great tool to use for reaching out to people. The training gives me the opportunity to visit schools to educate students about health, and at the same time, it opens the door for me to share about God while sharing about health. I am also planning to go to one village and gather villagers together to teach them about health, and this will give me the opportunity to connect with new people and share the Gospel with them. This medical training also protects me legally, as now I have a reason to go to villages or schools and teach–otherwise, people could accuse me of coming to their village to manipulate young people and make them change their religion and be disobedient to their parents.

When I graduated from Bible College, I came back to where I grew up and began teaching at the School of Ministry. When I now visit the pastors who have graduated and their ministries, it brings me joy to see the results of the hard work that I put in during that time. The last time I went to another area of the country, I was invited by one of the School of Ministry graduates to preach at his fellowship. I had a blessed time there sharing at his new church and talking with his believers.
We are planning to start a Pastors School here in my town very soon. Right now, I am trying to find a good place to rent to run the Pastors School, as it is really difficult to find a place where the neighbors are not offended by us teaching the Word of God. I am excited to see how God is going to expand the ministry as we open the Pastors School and raise up believers to serve God and start churches in their own villages.
Prayer requests:
1) Pray for me, that I may have wisdom and knowledge to do the work of God that He has entrusted to me.
2) Pray for my health, as this past week I have been a bit sick.
3) Pray for the pastors with whom I have been working, that they may be good shepherds. Also pray for all of the believers who are coming to faith through them.

4) Pray that we will find a good place to rent for the Pastors School.

5) Pray that we will get the right students for the Pastors School who are truly committed to the Gospel.
6) Pray for my financial needs.
Thank you so much for being a part of this ministry in my country!
God bless,

People have Questions–God has All the Answers

Greetings! I hope you had wonderful time celebrating the birth of our Lord as well as the New Year! By God’s grace, we have been given another year to do the work of the Gospel. Thank you everyone for keeping us in your prayers and for your financial help.
Living in the mountains during the winter season is very difficult. It gets very cold in the morning and in the evening. The road gets covered with frost, and it is very risky to drive our motorcycle as it gets very slippery. We have to drive our motorcycle to different villages to have fellowship with the believers and to share the gospel with non-believers. The Lord has protected me from any harm.
In the villages, young boys and girls are very curious to know about Jesus. They are very smart and have lots of question regarding religious philosophies and so-called science. Sometimes it is very challenging to answer their questions, but I really enjoy spending time with them answering their questions. Their questions are really genuine-that shows that they are really serious about knowing the truth. Being presented with so many questions from the young boys and girls has led me to spend more time studying the Word, relying on the Holy Spirit so that I would be used by God to satisfy these thirsty souls. I am also spending more time studying apologetics.

Village Christmas Fellowship

This was the first Christmas that I have not been with my family, but I had a really good time here in the mountains as well. We had a Christmas program with the new believers. We called all the believers from nearby villages, and I got to encourage them from the Word that Christmas is not only for the Christians (as people here generally think) but that the birth of Christ is the good news for the whole of humanity. Then we had Christmas lunch together.

Please pray for

1. The Lord to give me wisdom so that I am able to answer these young men and women.
2. These young men and women to surrender their lives to Jesus.
3. Our safety as we drive our motorcycle.
4. My financial needs.
5. Me, to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord.

Once again, thank you for your prayers and support!

God bless,

Ministry Update

Happy New Year to you!!!!!! I surrendered my life to Jesus at the age of 14 and graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California in December 2015. My father has been serving the Lord with Calvary Chapel Saving Grace and Saving Grace World Missions. After completing my biblical studies I came back to my country and since then I have been serving the Lord along with my father.

I have been teaching in the School of Ministry. It is our goal to take the Gospel to the unreached areas. We teach the Word of God in the School of Ministry to the local believers and train them to preach the gospel to their native people and start house fellowships. I have been enjoying teaching the young men of my age and encouraging them for the work of the Gospel. Since these students are my age I spend more time with them even after their class. This is the time when they open up and ask more personal questions. I have opportunity to give biblical counseling to them. I also help my father in other work of the School of Ministry and in the church ministry.

Occasionally I drive my motor cycle to the mission fields where our graduates have been serving the Lord in the Mountains. I spend a day or two with them seeing what the Lord has been doing through them and encouraging them to stand firm in faith and keep sharing the Gospel. The Holy Spirit has been using these graduates to touch the lives of youth. More and more youth are surrendering their lives to Jesus. Now we have house fellowships in a few villages where once no one had even heard the name of Jesus. We also take the SOM students to the mission fields for camping and to do outreach ministry with our graduates.

I would also request for you to forward this update to your friends and relatives who have a heart for the work of the Gospel. Thank you so much! God bless!
