Ministry in Southwest Nepal and a Visit Home
Ministry in Southwest Nepal
Pastor Milan, Elder Pradeep and I were able to visit Bardiya, which was a new ministry area for us. We thank God for safe travel and for opening the door to connect with pastors and church leaders in this region.
During our time there, we conducted training sessions focused on the Word of God. We studied from the Gospel of Mark and introduced the Inductive Bible Study method. It was encouraging to see pastors and leaders carefully observe Scripture, ask questions, and learn how to understand and teach the Bible more clearly.
We saw a deep hunger and thirst for God’s Word among them. Many are faithfully serving in challenging situations with limited resources and little access to formal Bible training. At the same time, we clearly saw the great need for continued teaching, encouragement, and support.
We are also thankful that God used our city friends to help us connect with these leaders and arrange the visit. We believe the Lord is opening new doors in this region, and we are praying for more opportunities to return and continue training.
Home Visit – Southeast Nepal
This month, I also had the opportunity to visit my family and home church in southeast Nepal. It is always a special joy to return to the place where my ministry journey first began.
Each time I visit, the church invites me to teach during the main service. It is a great blessing to share the Word of God with my own people and to testify about how God is working in our lives and ministry.
One of the most encouraging moments was seeing many young people actively serving in the church. Many of them were once children in Sunday school whom I had taught years ago. Now they have grown into youth who love the Lord and serve faithfully. Seeing this growth is a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness.
It was also wonderful to reconnect with former coworkers who served together with me in my early days of ministry. Together we remembered how we prayed, worked, laughed, cried, and labored side by side for the church. Reuniting with them brought great joy and encouragement.
