Trusting In the One Who Never Fails!
Dear Friends,Where do I begin? This season has been filled with experiences beyond what I imagined. Many of you have read about one of my most moving moments — meeting God in the dump. We visited people living in such deep poverty, yet their joy when we arrived was overwhelming. They were hungry not only for food but for fellowship, love, and the Word of God in their own language. One woman especially stood out to me — radiant in spirit, though her hair was uncombed and her hands showed years of hard work. Her eyes were pure and full of grace. She reminded me how God sees beauty where the world sees brokenness. She asked for prayer because of her back pain, and though her body was weak, her spirit was strong. Poverty is very real. Yet these people, with so little, were rich in spirit. Their joy in receiving the love of God touched me deeply. I came home enriched, challenged, and prayerful.During a quiet month afterward, I felt the Lord’s call: “Who shall go for me?” My heart answered, “Here I am, Lord.” I don’t yet know where He’ll send me next, but I continue to seek His direction. In the meantime, I was able to spend time in Oregon with my grandchildren — harvesting eggs, working in the garden, and cherishing family moments. Thank you to all of you who partner with me financially and prayerfully. Your support sustains me in these seasons of serving and preparing.School has started again at MTS, and I’m especially enjoying a class on expository preaching — learning how to faithfully communicate God’s Word so others may hear the hope we have in Christ. My prayer has been simple: “Lord, bring someone I can share the gospel with.” And He did. That very morning, I met Robabeh, a young Iranian woman who had been experiencing visions. She asked for prayer. Since then, I’ve been able to walk with her as she rejected Islam, came to faith in Jesus, and recently was baptized! For four weeks now, I’ve been discipling her, and her love for Christ is contagious. She is already sharing her testimony with friends and family. Praise God for this answered prayer and for allowing me to be part of her journey!I thank each of you again for your faithful support. Because of your generosity, I am able to serve, study, and share the gospel. Please continue to pray with me that the Lord would guide my next steps in missions and strengthen Robabeh’s faith as she grows. With gratitude and love,Guiseppina Ercolamento Gruner
