We are so very happy to send out updates & prayer requests for the months of May & June combined.

Our Worship Service

In May, we celebrated our 4th year as a fellowship (church). We worshipped together with thankful hearts for what God’s Spirit has come to do in our midst since the beginning of our gatherings. During our anniversary celebration, families that we frequently visit in their homes during our local outreaches attended- which means they came to hear our testimonies of what the Lord has done and what we are all about: JESUS! Because our fellowship has been maturing, thanks to the many prayer partners we have who continue to bless us with support, our community has been hearing more and more testimonials of people being transformed by Jesus Christ. We are building a reputation reflecting the goodness of God through His Word, His works and His Way.

We have many brothers and sisters actively pursuing spiritual growth in Bible studies and through our worship services who experience abuse, persecution and violence at times from their unbelieving families or spouses. One of our sisters was actually in our worship service when family members came and beat her up – eventually dragging her out. She has not given up on Jesus. Another sister from out-of-state is isolated in our cultural community. She finds strength in God by gathering with local believers. Although her husband often forbids her to come and at times physically tortures her, she attends whenever she can. We have an entire congregation of believers willing to grow through and endure with joy the loneliness of being the only Christian in their family, and for the consequences that have followed for choosing Jesus publicly.

One man who has recently joined us was so broken-hearted because his wife had an affair that he became suicidal. Our dear brother Arthur*, who has been a growing evangelist, reached out to him in compassion and began to minister to him one-on-one. That man has now committed himself to Jesus and is experiencing transformational healing, peace of mind and a new way of life. God continues to encourage all of these growing believers through His Word and His very real Presence here

Our ministry team continues to take the powerful message of grace from God’s Word to Catholic communities and more conferences reaching out to our neighboring state. The local pastor’s fellowship has also been open to hearing our team share from the Bible and exhort local ministry leaders!

We say, “Yes and amen!”, to building up our city in His love.

Please pray for us in the following ways:

  • That the saints who suffer to rejoice and be blessed to endure every trial and tribulation through joy in Christ.
  • For a new building for us to fellowship in (the previous house we looked at was a corrupted deal)
  • For our ministry team members who will return to Bible College for the next semester
  • For our existing ministry team members to be faithful and united to our mission and vision
  • For us all to keep growing and taking the call to disciple our nation for His glory

Highest blessings,

Pastor 6*
