Dear Fellow Saints,

I’m so happy to report that through February we continued to be steadfast in our faith here in our country and we saw God’s love poured out toward us and through us!

I would like to share that we continue Wednesdays in the book of Colossians and Sundays in the book of Acts. I personally feel that this methodical teaching plan allows the believers in our fellowship to get God’s full counsel. We hope to get through the whole Bible one day together.
Additionally, our Calvary Chapel team did two outreach programs with nearby local churches to minister to one village and a group of teenagers. I’m seeing more and more how God is using our small but faithful worship team to move in mighty ways. I’m happy to lend my spiritual gifts to the larger body of Christ in evangelism efforts through leading worship and accepting invitations to teach the Bible.
I was also invited to fellowship at a local pastors meeting. At this meeting, pastors from all over my city of different backgrounds came together for one common desire: to persevere in the good fight of faith and encourage each other in the Word of God. I’m very young in the demographic of pastors, as I’m under 30 years old, and many attendees were 50+ years old. Nevertheless, I was extremely blessed that the word of encouragement was about being faithful to God’s Word and to be fearless in breaking cultural traditions which contradict God’s Word. I felt happy discovering that many, many men are not ashamed of the Gospel in my city.
It is my sincere hope that this Word of God is and continues to transform me and the people in my country.
I would like to share an incident that was unplanned by me but very much orchestrated by God. After an evening of fellowship, I was riding back in the night to my home. On the way, along the road, I saw a dark form curled up and wrinkled around a fire. I felt so confident that I was supposed to stop and check. I stopped, along with my friend, and we found an old man sleeping in the dirt next to red hot coals. We woke him up and found out that he was from far away out of state and had an injured leg and was unable to work or get around. We scooped him up on to our motorcycle and rode with him to a nearby missions base where we have friends. I had a genuine love in my heart for this wayward old man in his condition and situation. The Calvary Chapel team and our local missionary friends fed him a hot meal, listened to his story, built a fire and shared Good News with him and prayed over him. He was offered a place to sleep for the night and then we were able to connect him to a mercy ministry that had space for him.
I am always in awe when I see the reality of My Jesus stopping for the one. He truly does leave the 99 for the one. I have seen and experienced it.
Please keep our church in your prayers. I ask for your personal prayer support for me, that I continue to teach God’s Word and demonstrate my faith by living biblically and loving God and people radically.
Thank you! The saints of our church send their love in the name of Jesus.
God bless you,
Pastor 6*
