Hello my faithful friends!
Today’s update is short and sweet and has to do mainly with our OUTREACH WEEK!
(I’m early this week because I will be in Ireland this Sunday and won’t be able to write an update)
The outreach teams are out and I am so excited to announce that I will be heading to Verbania, Italy in the first week of April with a group of four other girls.
My team consists of three other students and one staff member. The other students on the team are Erin, Asasia, and my best friend, Daniela and the staff member who is leading us is Sharon (Daniela’s older sister).
When the destinations and teams were announced I was ecstatic to hear my name next to Daniela’s and when the other girls’ names were read I had nothing left to desire.
We will be taking the train to Verbania and staying with a Christian family that is involved with the local church there. We will be spending time with their youth group, evangelizing, visiting refugees, and helping with whatever practical needs they have. We still aren’t sure what day we will be leaving or what day we will return, but it will be in the first week of April anywhere from the 3rd to the 9th.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
Outreach
- That God would give us the same mind as we minister to the body in Verbania
- That we would all get along and exalt one another before ourselves
- That God would be glorified first and foremost
- That we would be able to buy our tickets without any issuesÂ
- That we would be focused and dedicated to the work the Lord has for us
- That we would be able to get all of our school work done before we leave
Ireland
- Ireland this weekend! Please keep our flights, buses, and trains in your prayers
- Divine appointments to share the love of Christ everywhere we go
- That the hostel would be safe, clean, and accommodating
- That our tour to the Cliffs of Moher would be safe, fun, and action-packed
- That we would stay healthy and be
well rested for school next week
