The Time has Come

We are so grateful for your partnership with us and for helping us to send Brian on the mission’s trip to Peru! Brian was able to go for basically a whole week, including travel. It was such a blessing and an encouragement for Brian to be able to see the church and the Bible college and how they are working together to raise up Christians to be future missionaries and church planters. At the missions conference Brian was so encouraged by all the people he met there from many other different countries. He realized that he has the same desire as them for church planting. They are people who are going through “normal” life struggles just like us, but they are on fire for reaching South America. There were 12 countries represented by the 270 people who attended the conference. The teachings were amazing, but what Brian enjoyed and was encouraged by the most was creating relationships with those people from all different countries. Being able to pray for them and also to have them pray for us. Brian was inspired by Calvary Trujillo and also their CBI for the work that we will be doing in Calpulalpan. We would like to especially thank Pastor Cory Kilgus & his family for their support and encouragement; and also to Arlin and his wife Rosemary who let Brian stay in their house while he was there.

We got to celebrate Kimmy’s 1st birthday! Our little girl is now 1, time is going by so fast! We did her birthday ‘Despicable Me’ themed, and we dressed her up as Agnes. It was so sweet and fun to celebrate our little girl with friends and family.

Brian was able to go on a vision trip with Pastor Pablo (Calvary Rosarito), and Pastor Hugo (Calvary Culiacan Norte). Pastor Mike was suppose to go on the trip as well but due to a court order date change he had to stay. (Pastor Mike was being wrongfully sued by someone who was claiming that Calvary Rosarito did not purchase the property next to the church building that they use for parking. Praise God that the judge saw that Pastor Mike was being wrongfully accused and dismissed the case!). Brian, along with the other 2 Pastors and a couple of Brian’s uncles were able to visit the property that was donated to us. They also visited the two properties which belong to the couple who donated the property to us. We will be renting one house for us and Brian’s family will be renting the other one. Praise God and thanks to you all as well, we were able to put the deposit down on both houses.

It was so encouraging to have Brian’s uncles there for the visit. They both live in Puebla which is about an hour and a half from Calpulalpan. They were encouraging Brian a lot and they are excited for what God is going to do there through us and you all as well! Brian was also able to visit Calvary Texcoco. He was invited to help with worship and also to teach for their Wednesday service. It is sweet to see how our relationships are growing with the Pastors that live close to where we will be planting. God is doing great things already!

Next weekend is our sending weekend here at Calvary Rosarito. At each of their 3 weekend services Brian will have a chance to teach a little and also to share about our church plant. We will go on stage with Brian’s family (our sending team) and the Pastors will pray for us and send us out. We are getting ready to move as our moving date is January 12, 2023. We are currently trying to get the permits that we need to drive Brittany’s Dad’s (Ron) truck and trailer down to Calpulalpan. The time has come!

Prayer Requests:

• That we will get the necessary permits to bring Ron’s truck and trailer to move us down
• For Eduardo’s (Brian’s dad) health, that when we get to Calpulalpan he will be able to find a hospital to continue his treatment
• For provision for our family and future church plant as Brittany is leaving her job on December 30th
• That both the house where we will be living and the house where Brian’s family will be living will be finished and ready when we move down in January
• For a decent car for our family to import into Mexico and be able to drive down south or for the money to purchase a car down there once we move
• That Brian’s brothers: (Aldrin and Kevin) will be able to find a good job when we move that will allow them to serve in the church
• That the Lord would help us to protect our hearts as we begin this journey, that we will not be discouraged by Satan’s attacks

Praise Reports:

• Our baby girl turned one and is in good health praise God
• Brian was gifted a new acoustic guitar from Pastor Mike/Calvary Rosarito
• We were able to pay the deposit on both our house and Brian’s family’s house
• That Aldrin was able to sell his car so he can buy a new one once we move

¡El Tiempo ha Llegado!

¡Estamos muy agradecidos por su colaboración con nosotros y por ayudarnos a enviar a Brian en el viaje misionero a Perú! Brian pudo ir por casi una semana entera, incluiendo los vuelos. Fue una bendición y un animo para Brian poder ver la iglesia y el instituto bíblico y cómo están trabajando juntos para levantar Cristianos para que sean futuros misioneros y plantadores de iglesias. En la conferencia de misiones, Brian estaba muy animado por todas las personas que conoció allí de muchos países diferentes. Se dio cuenta de que tiene el mismo deseo que ellos de plantar iglesias. Son personas que están pasando por luchas “normales” de la vida como nosotros, pero están ardiendo por alcanzar a Sudamérica. Hubo 12 países representados por las 270 personas que asistieron a la conferencia. Las enseñanzas fueron asombrosas, pero lo que Brian mas disfrutó y lo que más lo animó fue crear relaciones con esas personas de todos los países diferentes. Poder orar por ellos y también que ellos oren por nosotros. Brian se inspiró en Calvary Trujillo y también en su CBI para el trabajo que estaremos haciendo en Calpulalpan. Nos gustaría agradecer especialmente al Pastor Cory Kilgus y su familia por su apoyo y animo; y también a Arlin y su esposa Rosemary, quienes permitieron que Brian se quedara en su casa mientras estuvo allí.

¡Pudimos celebrar el primer cumpleaños de Kimmy! Nuestra niña ahora tiene 1 año, ¡el tiempo pasa muy rápido! Hicimos el tema de su cumpleaños de ‘Despicable Me’, y la vestimos como Agnes. Fue muy dulce y divertido celebrar a nuestra pequeña con amigos y familiares.

Brian pudo ir a un viaje de visión con el Pastor Pablo (Calvary Rosarito) y el Pastor Hugo (Calvary Culiacán Norte). Se suponía que el Pastor Mike también iría al viaje, pero debido a un cambio de fecha por orden judicial, tuvo que quedarse en Rosarito. (El pastor Mike estaba siendo demandado injustamente por alguien que creía que Calvary Rosarito no compró la propiedad junto al edificio de la iglesia que usan como estacionamiento. ¡Alabado sea Dios porque el juez vio que el pastor Mike estaba siendo acusado injustamente y desestimó el caso!). Brian, junto con los otros 2 pastores y un par de tíos de Brian pudieron visitar la propiedad que nos fue donada. También visitaron las dos propiedades que pertenecen a la pareja que nos donó la propiedad. Rentaremos una casa para nosotros y la familia de Brian rentara la otra. Alabado sea Dios y gracias a todos ustedes también, pudimos poner el depósito en ambas casas.

Fue de mucho animo tener a los tíos de Brian allí para la visita. Ambos viven en Puebla, que está a una hora y media de Calpulalpan. ¡Estaban animando mucho a Brian y están emocionados por lo que Dios va a hacer allí a través de nosotros y de todos ustedes también! Brian también pudo visitar Calvary Texcoco. Fue invitado a ayudar con la alabanza y también a enseñar para su servicio de los miércoles. Es dulce ver cómo crecen nuestras relaciones con los pastores que viven cerca de donde estaremos plantando. ¡Dios ya está haciendo grandes cosas!

El próximo fin de semana es nuestro fin de semana de envío aquí en Calvary Rosarito. En cada uno de sus 3 servicios de fin de semana, Brian tendrá la oportunidad de enseñar un poco y también de compartir sobre la plantación de nuestra iglesia. Subiremos al escenario con la familia de Brian (nuestro equipo de envío) y los pastores orarán por nosotros y nos enviarán. Nos estamos preparando para mudarnos ya que nuestra fecha de mudanza será el 12 de Enero de 2023. Actualmente estamos tratando de obtener los permisos que necesitamos para conducir la camioneta y el remolque del papá de Brittany (Ron) hasta Calpulalpan. ¡El tiempo ha llegado!

Peticiones de Oracion:

• Que podemos conseguir los permisos necesarios para llevar la camioneta y remolque de Ron al sur
• Por el salud de Eduardo (Papa de Brian), y que llegando a Calpulalpan puede encontrar un hospital para seguir con su tratamiento
• Por provicion por nuestra familia y futura plantacion de iglesia por que Brittany ya va a dejar de trabajar el 30 de Deciembre
• Que ambos casas, donde vamos a vivir nosotros y donde va a vivir la familia de Brian, pueden estar terminadas y listas cuando mudamos en Enero
• Por un carro decente que podemos importar a Mexico para nuestra familia, o dinero para comprar un carro ya que llegamos alla
• Que los hermanos de Brian (Aldrin y Kevin) pueden encontrar un buen trabajo que les permite servir en la iglesia
• Que el Señor proteje nuestros corazones mientras empezamos este viaje, y que no seamos desanimados por los ataques de Satanas

• Que nuestra bebita cumplio un año y esta en buen salud
• Pastor Mike/Calvary Rosarito regalo una guitarra acustica a Brian
• Que pudimos pagar el deposito de ambos casas (la de nostoros y la de la familia de Brian)
