The First Of Many

Hi Friends and Family,

From the bottom of my heart I am so grateful that you all have signed up to be a part of my newsletter. This will be a space to keep updated on the places the Lord has been working within both my life and the lives of those around me. I am so thankful to have you all as a part of  my community as I walk towards this new opportunity the Lord has placed in front of me.

CALVARY SCHOOL OF MISSIONS

As many of you know this newsletter’s current purpose is to share the preparation and progress of my participation in Calvary School of Missions. For those of you that don’t know too much about it I’d love to share more. Calvary School of Missions is a missions training program/school meant to educate and equip believers in pursuing the great commission. A main purpose of this school is to encourage a heart that reflects the Lord’s when it comes to seeking the lost and reaching the nations with the Gospel. The Lord has been planting seeds and working on my heart for the past four years when it comes to this very thing which leads me to how I got here.

HOW THE LORD BROUGHT ME HERE

Entering my final year of college brought the idea of my future to my mind more than ever. I was thinking about all the plans I had made for myself. Plans of using my passions and my skills to serve the Lord. As I continued thinking over these things I became completely aware of the fact that they were MY PLANS. I felt convicted that I wasn’t fully surrendered to what he had planned for me. So, I began to ask “what do you have for me?” “What are your plans?”. I was walking into a stage of life where I was free to do with it what I wanted…and I wanted to give it to him. I thought of what I knew I was called to do through scripture. That led me again to the great commission. As a believer our one purpose is to glorify the Father and reach the nations with the Gospel of his sacrifice and saving love. Growing in my relationship with the Lord grew my heart for the lost. Knowing that there are 3.2 billion people who have never heard the name of Jesus is something that began to burden my heart more than ever. Next thing I knew I was brought to the opportunity of Calvary School of Missions an opportunity I had been hearing about for the last four years. As I was praying for all other post grad opportunities this was the one thing the Lord gave me clarity on. It is a place where I can grow and become equipped to do what I know I am called to do. Which is reach the lost. It was an opportunity he had covered in peace. This has allowed me to walk in full confidence that this is what the Lord has for me right now. Needless to say, I am excited and expectant to learn so much from the Lord through people he has used to reach the nations today, and I am grateful to have a space like this where I can share all of those things with you.
