Vincent Family May 2025 Missions Update

Greetings from Mexico.

At the end of April, I was blessed to travel to the central Mexico state of Michoacan with a church planting team. Michoacan is one of Mexico’s largest and most traditional states, full of great food, music, and culture. It is in this great state that we have now planted three churches that I was able to visit in April. In this update, I want to tell you all about the great things God is doing in Michoacan.

Three years ago we sent out my good friend and Calvary Rosarito intern Tony Areyzaga to plant a church called Living Way in the state capital city of Morelia. Tony and his new bride Delia have worked hard for three years establishing this healthy and growing church. They also started a church planting class that has borne much fruit.

The main purpose of our mission’s trip was to celebrate Tony’s new church plant located in the nearby city of Quiroga! (Living Way Quiroga) My young friend Eduardo Rogu has been a assistant Pastor and worship leader at Tony’s church for the past 2 years. He has also completed the church planting class with excellence. Over the past year, God has placed a burden on he and his wife’s heart to plant this new church in Quiroga. This church plant is our newest 2nd generation church plant. (A church plant planted from one of our church plants)

To celebrate this new church, I brought a team of six pastors and leaders down to Quiroga where we participated in a church planting conference. The two day conference was full of food, fellowship, and new friendships. The title of the conference was “Venga Tu Reino” (Your Kingdom Come) and there was a great turnout of over 150 adults. Through this conference God spoke through His word and each attendee was challenged and encouraged to continue to reach this great state of Michoacan with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

After two days in Quiroga, our ministry team traveled to the historic city of Patzcuaro to visit the church plant we planted last summer (Calvary Del Lago – Calvary of the lake) led by my good friend Humberto Ambriz. I was blessed to preach at their Sunday service and we saw four first time professions of faith. I was also honored to help Pastor Humberto baptize three new believers in their church’s first baptism. We ended the Sunday with a three plus hour fellowship bar-b-q, where we got to meet many new friends that are now calling this church plant their church home.

It is such a blessing to travel and visit our church plants. I feel full of the same kind of excitement that the Apostle Paul felt with his friend Barnabas on their church planting journeys. We read this in Acts 15:36, “after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return and visit the brothers in every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”

When I travel to visit our church plants on these mission’s trips, I don’t travel alone. I not only represent our church, Calvary Rosarito, I also represent you our precious ministry partners. Just as the church in Antioch sent out Paul and Barnabas, it is through your prayers, support, and financial partnership, that you too send me out.

In the difficult economic days that we live in today, I don’t take your partnership lightly. I am so thankful that you have chosen to pray for us and support our family over the past twenty three years. I love you and am praying for you!

Con mucho amor de Mexico,  (with much love from Mexico)
