Greetings from Mexico,
We hope that you and yours had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving! As we approach the end of a truly crazy year, this is a wonderful time to reflect back on God’s faithfulness and blessing. In this final update of 2020, I want to give thanks with you and for you as God allowed us to partner together to do some great things here on the mission field of Mexico this year!
#1- We witnessed over 300 first time professions of faith this past year during our main church services.
#2- Our daughter Grace is finishing up her studies at Southwest Community (Junior) College and is just one semester away from completing her AA degree!
#3- Our church was able to build a recording studio to meet the growing needs of our online church services!
#4- We were able to plant three new churches in Mexico in 2020! (Tulancingo (near Mexico City), La Gloria (local) and Loreto Central Baja)
#5- Our son Daniel graduated from high school with honors and is preparing to go to a Bilingual Bible college in Ensenada!
#6- Our church built a large outdoor stage and we held outdoor “Car Church” services for 3 months during the beginning stages of the global pandemic!
#7- We fulfilled a long term dream of planting our first church outside of the US or Mexico, and planted a church in Guatemala City! (Capital of Guatemala)
#8- Sarah continued working part time teaching Spanish to stateside home-schoolers, and successfully managed the challenge of having both live and ZOOM classes at the same time!
#9- We used the corona virus time of our facility being closed to build a beautiful 2nd floor sanctuary balcony with seating for 50!
#10- Our church was able to bless the least of these in our community, as we gave out over 500 free large family size food bags to those in need during the corona virus.
We want to thank you for partnering with our family this past year. 2020 was our most difficult and challenging year ever, as it was for so many of you. We look forward to partnering together in 2021 and asking God to do even greater things! May God bless you with a Jesus filled Christmas and a very happy New Year!
