New year, Same vision

I think we can all agree that the new year is always an opportunity for a new start and a fresh vision, but to be honest we believe our vision as a church remains the same and that’s to plant churches, to make disciples, and take over Mexico with the Gospel of Christ. We are more determined than ever to raise leaders and equip them for the work of the ministry. Church isn’t only about filling the people with more theological information rather putting that information into practice. Serving Christ isn’t a theory rather a reality.

One of the ways we show the love is by going into the community and caring for those in need. We recently had an outreach to different communities, offering free medical check ups along with free medicine. It was a huge blessing to see our church use their talents to bless others. We had sisters giving free hair cuts, the youth performed skits, they made food and gave away snacks to everyone who came. Everyone received a one on one invitation to receive salvation as we personally shared the Gospel to each individual before they would leave.

Blessing our servants

Every year around Thanksgiving time, we do our best to recognize the hard work of our team. We bless them with a special dinner and a night full of goodies and games. We were blown away to realize that we have over 100 people serving in ministry. The Lord is so good that we were able to have them invite their families as well.

Women’s Ministry

To close the year Stacy put together a dinner for all her women. They are studying the book by Chuck Smith, Why Grace Changes Everything. It is such a blessing to see their lives transformed by the gospel of GRACE.

In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit

We were blessed to sneak in a couple of more baptisms before closing the year. I love my job!

Amor en Acción – Love in Action

We serve in the Elderly Home every month. Its basically an orphanage for older people that have been abandoned by their family. It breaks our heart but it´s also a blessing to see the joy on their face every time we arrive. We are also blessed to see this group grow in number and faithfulness to serve these precious lives. Their shirts have 1 John 3:18  “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”

OUR Familia

We were able to see our family this December! It is a big deal for us because we don’t get to see each other in person often. Our family is all spread out.

Elijah and Bianca are in New Mexico as Elijah serves in the U.S. Airforce. Please keep them in your prayers. Elijah might be stationed somewhere else and Bianca is still waiting for her paperwork to go through immigration.

Noah is in California studying business management. He is living with his grandparents. Please pray for him to be able to finish his studies well.

Micah is living in Ensenada, BC Mexico at the Bible college there. He finishes this May. Please pray for guidance for his future.

Hassan and I would appreciate prayer for our Marriage, our Ministry, and our Health.

In Closing

We pray that this new year finds you well. We are grateful to God for His faithfulness and for each one of you. Thank you all for the love, prayers, and support. We so appreciate it.
